I've always found athletic and/or muscular women to be very sexy. Though that may just be because I get a jolly out of being beaten up ;)

There's a bit of a differnece between "muscular" and "athletic". What I'm seeing there is athletic.

I am loath to call any specific person ugly but female bodies with overdeveloped physiques are a huge turn off for me. That said if a woman wants to be a physical powerhouse I respect that especially since they have to work so much harder than men to achieve that look due to the lack of testosterone in their bodies.

Bad example for muscular women. There are far more attractive women in that category than the one you posted, such as numerous women in the fitness industry.......Names I remember from back in the day are Deidre Pagnanelli, Denise Paglia, Debbie Kruck, Margo Napoli, Cori Nadine (back when she was built), Debee Halo (in her original fitness days), etc.....There are also the select few who went into the WWE, like Trish Stratus.
But, good example for a boxer, as most boxers, be it male or female, tend to look hideous.......When Christy Martin was being lauded as attractive, that spoke volumes.
MMA & kickboxing are a different story.

Kickboxers get hit in the face by not just punches, but knees, elbows, and kicks as well, yet there are much better looking kickboxers, on average, than boxers.
I'd say the same about MMA, but in MMA you don't get hit in the face anywhere near as much as in boxing.

athletic ≠ muscular
And in the case of the latter, mileage varies in terms of the woman's attractiveness.

For me, female muscles developed just to be muscular (i.e., for bodybuilding or weightlifting) are less attractive than muscles developed as a byproduct of athleticism. I suspect the same is true for those attracted to males - I suspect, for example, Bruce Jenner was more attractive to the average woman than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So-so in terms of looks, or in terms of physique?
She's Deidre Pagnanelli......She was more muscular at some stages of her modeling career, and looked better, but those were pics I found with a quick search.
Most of the fitness names I listed were from around 10-12 years ago, so it's probably difficult to find pics. I have no plans to do extensive online searches......From what little I've noticed, nowadays fitness competitors/models look like basic swimsuit models.
A key example would be Cori Nadine....When she was built, she was pretty hot, but later in her career she went for the thin look and wasn't that great. Most pictures you'd find of her are from her "thin" days.
If you claim Pagnanelli's so-so in terms of looks, then I guess this woman's physique is more to your tastes:

Agree with you there. Usually when you think about athletic-looking people, they looks good and toned and are properly proportioned. Really musclebound types, sometimes not so much--they look overinflated.
And then again, there's no accounting for personal taste. There's an episode of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends about body building, and a good portion of that episode explores the world of female body building. They've definitely got their devotees and fans who really dig on female muscle.

What's funny is the way female bodybuilders look onstage isn't how they look all the time. During their off-seasons they have a bit of bodyfat, then they cut weight/fat shortly before a show to get a more extreme ripped look.
Plus, due to roid use, female bodybuilders tend to have over-sized clits (I've heard about comparisons to a person's thumb). That's alright if you're into that, I guess.
I've always found female professional bodybuilders to be rather odd-looking, personally........Impressive physiques, but nothing I'd consider attractive. One that I've always found particularly odd-looking was Kim Chizevsky.

Because it's totally a binary situation. You have to like either athletes or stick figures. There is nothing else.

Yeah, and (to the majority of humans, anyway) this is likely all hard-wired. Top athletes who aren't super-specialized look like they'd make good hunter-gatherers and fathers or mothers of strong, healthy children. As opposed to focused bodybuilders, who look unnatural because they are.

I remember that the WWE used to try to say that the musclebound female wrestler Chyna (aka Joanie Laurer) was attractive and she even made two appearances in Playboy magazine.
It was only after her infamous sex tape emerged that people saw quite how freaky her body was.
Athletic women can be attractive but you can't put 200lb on a frame meant for 140lb and expect the woman to look normal or attractive as they have exceeded normal boundaries and although they can be impressive in strength and size, their appearance changes from normality to freakiness.
It really depends on each individual's genetics. Some people can carry the bulk well, and some look horrible with it. I've been extremely attracted to men with "oversized" muscles, and turned off by other men with the same mass. It's more about proportions, I think. If one has the genetic makeup to allow them to maintain the "ideal" proportions, no matter what their size, then they'll look good with a lot of muscle. It's a little different with women, obviously, since a good percentage of body fat is a part of the feminine "ideal."

I really don't have a standard but if you really want a certain girl than it has to be Eliza Dushku, 'cuse she's freaking stunning!
Jeremi won't approve of that. He likes his women lean!
Well there's lean and than there is girls you're afraid to touch since you think they'll break in half.Just because I don't like muscular women doesn't mean that I like women as skinny as a pole!

For anyone who's curious, I noticed there are clips of Denise Paglia on youtube. She's the perfect blend of Italy & Japan, with a fitness twist.
The clips are from when she was on some fitness show on ESPN years back.

Honestly, I find Eliza Dushku to be very average looking.

I'm not a muscle or fitness fetishist, and most of what I said to you in previous posts was in jest. Like you said, we all have different tastes.
But, in terms of physique, I'd put Eliza Dushku in the "break in half" category. She's not as thin as that anorexic model I posted a pic of, but she is pretty damn skinny.
I could also make an example with Jessica Alba......I thought she looked fantastic in that stupid b-movie, Idle Hands (Back when she was 18)..........But, later in her career, she decided to go for the lean look. She still looks good, but in terms of her body/physique she's too lean. I'd assume she went for the look to fit with what she perceives as Hollywood standards.

I'm a big Eliza Dushku fan but she is rather skinny and I think she could do with a few hours of gym time to build up a bit as she features in a lot of action roles.
In terms of perfect body size for a woman I like 5'9" and 145lbs as that is tall but not lanky and strong but not musclebound.
There is a Gladiator on the UK called Tempest and she has about the nicest female athletic build I've seen recently. She is about 5'9" and 135lbs so she is in the ballpark of what I see as the perfect female athletic form.
