A question for you Avengersmaniacs out there.

Which Avengers members have had a personal arch nemesis? I'm trying to make a definitive list.

Captain America-Red Skull
Iron Man-Mandarin
Thor-Loki
Hank Pym-Egghead
Namor-Attuma

Those are the gimmies, the rest it gets kinda blurry...

Vision-Ultron?
Hawkeye-Trickshot?

Help me out here!

With Hawkeye it could be either Trickshot or Crossfire but he hasn't really built up a great deal of rogues for himself given his lack of ongoing series.

Ultron works for both Pym and Vision since they're so linked together. As for Ms. Marvel I guess Marcus works although Rogue would have fit at an earlier time.

Wonderman - Grim Reaper
Scarlet Witch - Either Cthon or Master Pandemonium works

Wonder Man - Grim Reaper
She-Hulk - Titania (arguably; actually the reverse might be more true)
Hercules - Ares
Black Panther - Klaw
Starfox - Thanos
Moon Knight - Raoul Bushman
Mr. Fantastic - Dr. Doom
Thunderstrike - Bloodaxe
Spider-Man - Numerous (Green Goblin and Doc Octopus probably topping the list)
Machine Man - Sunset Bain
Captain Mar-Vell - Thanos
Marrina - The Master of the World
The Sentry - The Void
Spider-Woman - The Viper or Morgan le Fay
Iron Fist - Steel Serpent or Master Khan
Doctor Strange - Baron Mordo

Hercules - Ares
I think Mikaboshi could be a bigger one at this point but Ares is good too.

I'd go with Crossfire as his predominant nemesis- Trickshot was an ally the last time we'd seen them together.

As for his rogues, Hawkeye developed quite a considerable rogue's gallery during his stint as half the Solo Avengers/Avengers Spotlight series, though admittedly a lot of them were something less than impressive (Bobcat and the Claws? Bullet Biker? The Orb? I think Geoff Johns needs to give Hawkeye's rogues a makeover.)

I mainly went on the basis of long-term opposition. Ares has been a thorn in Herc's side for a lot longer, but Mikaboshi is a pretty good option, too.

Yeah most of them are pretty lame.

How soon until the die-hard classic Avengers fan calls Bendis the ultimate archnemesis?

It'd be a tossup between him and Austen, I'd say.

USAgent- Watchdogs
Quicksilver- Magneto
Wolverine- Sabretooth
Mockingbird- Phantom Rider (her rapist)

Wonder Man - Grim Reaper

Spider-Man - Green Goblin

I don't see why I should list Doc Octopus in the same position with Green Goblin. To me Doc Ock has been such a lame and one-dimensional nemesis despite his giving Spidey a tough time.

Green Goblin has turned Spidey's life upside down several times and he also makes Venom (Eddie Brock) look like Sigmund Freund.

Yes, but Doc Ock dated Aunt May. If that doesn't make him nemesis material, I don't know what does.

Come on is there on doubt in anyone's mind that Spidey's archnemeisis is the Goblin...

I personally prefer Doc Ock... but come let's be honest with ourselves

The antagonist of Doom in the Avengers has to be Tony Stark.

Both non-powered, wear armors, and yes kinda have the same personality but Tony has more moral binding except between 2004-2006.

Nefaria also has more connection with Tony than any other heroes except Wonder Man.
