Yeah, but that syndication renewal looks less and less likely everyday.
Tyler Labine (Sock) has a new show that got picked up for the fall. He's contractually obligated to do Reaper instead if it gets picked up, but I can't imagine he's hoping Reaper somehow gets spared for one more season rather than have his own sitcom in which he's the star on a more prominent network. Forcing one of the stars back can't be good for the show.
Plus, Butters and Fazekas, the shows creators and runners are already signed on w/ 20th Century Fox and won't be back no matter what.
At this point, I've accepted its fate and moved on.

Im starting to end up at that point too. Still I hate that the show is being axed in favor of a crappy remake of a 90210 spin-off. Also the fact that the finale ended on a downer cliffhanger.

I'm actually just here to correct a couple of things.
1. If anyone wants to read Tyler's comments on the Reaper/TOC issue, read this article and its comments:

2. Michele and Tara *will* be involved with any future Reaper seasons, despite their FOX contract:

3. If anyone wants an update on Reaper's chances for an S3, read here:

We're getting some pretty darn good feedback from the CW affiliates. If you'd like to help us out, all the info is here:

Thanks.

I SOOOOOOOO hope this works. Reaper is great fun. And the season finale was very good. That, and I love Missy Peregrym. And she is so very good in Reaper. And hot.

I hope the positive feed back could convince CW to do a couple of things.
1. Renew it for a 3rd season
2. Give it to ABC
I want it to be renewed just to see how Sam and Andi will get out of their deal with the devil.

The CW is no longer involved. They've passed on Reaper. It's entirely up to ABC as to what to do with it, since they produce the show to begin with. Sources say they are still behind the show, but like the links above said, we have to help out by convincing the affiliates to buy the show.

Well, it's looking like we won't have anymore new Reaper.
Does the CW even know what they're doing anymore?
