Kamikaze Girl and Battle Royale

I watched both of these Japanese films recently. Both where really good (though Battle Royale is obviously very violent)

I really like Kamikaze Girls. Even if you have no interest in the topics of Loita or Yanki, it's still very entertaining to see a view into those worlds - with a lot of funny events to illustrate it.

Battle Royale was really intense. The same actor who played Kira in the live action Death Note movies played one of the kids in this film. All of the actors did a really good job.


Anybody else see these movies, or have seen other Japanese FIlms?
