I heard that Jamie Foxx was trying out for the role of Frank Sinatra, I'm down for equal rights but it's old blue eyes not old brown eyes.

DiCaprio still isn't very believable as an adult to me, which is probably why the last role I thought he was really good in was "Catch Me If You Can".

I've always thought Kevin Spacey might just be able to pull off a good Frank Sinatra, acting-wise at least
He might have shot himself in the foot with that Bobby Darin thing though

When I first heard that Ledger was the new Joker, my initial reaction was..uh...what? But then I adopted the wait and see attitude.
If DiCaprio can pull off the singing, I say he might be good at a young to middle aged Sinatra.
But the singing is the key, really(at least to me). As evidenced with Val Kilmer as Jim, Jamie Fox as Ray, and Juaqin Phoenix as Johnny. They all sang the songs themselves and became the character.

I think he could play the young Sinatra (circa 1940s). Leo is sort of like the cartoon canary modeled on Sinatra.
I just think it's pretty cheesy that every Martin Scorcese movie now stars Leo.

Ha! That's a good point and I didn't even really think of that until you mentioned it. Apparently that's his "go to" actor.

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with DiCaprio as Frank.
Honestly, I don't even think singing is that important for the role. Frank never did.

From Deniro to DiCaprio...
As others have pointed out, Leo is just too baby faced for alot of the roles he plays. He better hope for early wrinkles.

I didn't think Jamie Foxx could pull off Ray Charles but he surprised me, perhaps Leo will do the same as Sinatra.
