The planet that is... I know almost nothing about him, I just heard him passively mentioned. Ego was like nothing to him? He fought an army of Celestials? Could someone please fill me in and tell me what comics this all went down in? Thanks ahead of time...

This (http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/e/ego.htm) explains Ego far better than I could.

Actually, I think the only time I've ever read a story with him in it was the recent Exiles arc.

Super-Ego appeared in back-up stories in THOR #449-450. I don't believe they were ever followed up on.

Odd that two different people would ask about such an obscure character within such a short period of time. (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=24354&highlight=super-ego)

Quote from Marvel Directory:

"For unknown reasons, Ego is apparently unable to remove the sidereal propulsion unit embedded in its south pole."

Gosh, now that's a problem. I think he needs to see a specialist.

what a great comic idea ...Galactus trying to eat Ego the living planet! i read that arc and i wondered once about the big G trying to comsume earth was akin to him attacking Gaea as a consciousness like Ego...
