i hope it's a straight forward Sci-Fi/horror series and not a mundane sci-fi, cozy catastrophe. i hate those types of fantasy/sci-fi/horror shows/films.

All I can say is that if they killed off Juliet on LOST for this show, it better be freakin' good!

I'm guessing her part in the filming on Lost is long done by now. There is only a partial season left and most of the on-the-ground cast related filming work is already wrapped. Effects, editing, music and other technical post-production elements are still being worked on I'm sure.

Filming on Season 5 is over, but season six won't begin until late july/early august. If her character is dead, which was left up in the air (sort of) during the season 5 finale.She'll have to do some serious juggling to film both shows.

It looks ok. From the clips it's seems way to much to fast. Not enough intrigue/mystery. Also it doesn't seem serious enough. Not sure why but it has a Saturday afternoon B-movie feel. I like the cast, very diverse and filled with good actors. So that's a plus but we will have to wait and see.

Maybe it's just the clips. The pilot that I read had a bunch more character development and suspense. It read really well. Looking forward to it.

One thing the original mini-series did well was establish an urgent, in your face sense of political oppression and fascism. It looks like this may be going for more of a secretive, quiet, X-Files-ish vibe?

I don't remember V much at all. But I did watch Earth: Final Conflict off and on for a season or two. This looks just like that, but with a better cast.

Don't understand the B-movie comments. The original was that, and the clip for this looks much better. I hope they don't rehash the original plot though.
