I'll take Stephen Moffatt's, even though the second half was pretty much balls awful.

If you mean that mini series i actually enjoyed it. Specially Hyde was really well done. That actor i know from that relationship drama Cold feet or something was real good in it.

Forest Whitaker is badass, so I'll go with his, regardless of the half dollar involved.

I'll go ahead and say Keanu Reeves will win this one. Whitaker's film career has became B-Movies and straight to DVD. And no matter if 50 Cent is a great rapper , he's still not that good an actor and the film screams straight to DVD.

Not that Keanu's will be any better. But next to 50 Cent ...he's fucking Brando.

What is it with every rapper that gets a few hits getting TV and movie roles?

50 Cent failed to convincingly play *himself*.

If Dr. Jekyll is supposed to be an emotionally repressed guy, Reeves is perfect.

Reeve's will probably be more faithful, but the Whitaker/50 cent is going to be the more interesting.

Especially if 50 gets in more trouble before it comes out.

B-movies?

You do remember that Forrest won a Academy Award just two years ago?
Doing indy work doesn't make you a B-lister. On the other hand I picked neither mainly cause 50 doesn't have it yet as an actor and I can't buy "Kanoe" being any kind of scientist.

Way more money in movies then in music.

Poor Robert Louis Stevenson, he is the most translated author in the world.

His famed creation cant get better than Keanu and 50 cent. Two "amazing actors...

Forest Whitaker is a very good actor but 50 Cent kills his movie..

Way more money in movies then in music.

So why do studios go with them when there's dozens of one note actors who can do the job for less money or trouble?

Rappers bring their fans to the movies is the draw. Thats what happens here. Whitaker won't bring a huge fanbase himself. So they need 50 Cent to do the deal.

I think Tupac ...had he lived could have been a decent actor. He impressed me with Janet Jackson in that film they did . He seemed to have that rogue charm that made him likeable.

Y'know, I think I'm just going to stick with my double disc of the Fredric March and Spencer Tracy versions (mostly March, Tracy's just isn't my favorite).

Can I has Forest Whitaker without the 50 Cents?

i think it's because ALOT of rappers are basicly acting most of the time durring their careers and lives.

They're all trying to be like Will Smith?

$$$

Fiddy is a brand name and putting it on a movie poster will bring in an extra 25m at least. 99% of films need a name to go with them, be it Speilberg, Dan Brown or 50 cent, they need a name to sell.

I'm a huge fan of 50 Cent and think if he'll improve as an actor if he's exposted to more talented actors like Whitaker. I'll take that version over Reeve's anyday. Not the biggest fan of Keanu, never have been.
