Radical's legend of Hercules continues in July with "The Knives of Kush," written by Steve Moore. We caught up with Moore to discuss the new series and writing historically plausible adventures of the son of Zeus.

The first series was great! Very much looking forward to this story as well.
I do know that according to ancient stories of Hercules, his travel did take him to Egypt. So this story does have a connection to actual legend/myth.

Sounds like a great storyline and I love the art.
Definitely looking forward to picking this one up.

I'm biased but this series is going to be amazing. The two covers shown are from Jim Steranko and Clint Langley.
I love the idea behind this and Moore's interviews always raise my level of interest, but have to admit that the execution of the ideas he's talked about in those interviews hasn't been there for me so far. The artwork doesn't appeal to me at all, and even the writing hasn't really shone. Still, very glad to see something like this being attempted, and hoping it'll eventually manage to realize what I think is the enormous potential of the concept. I'd love to see a different look for the art, for a start, something a little earthier, a little more textured might be interesting.
