Not anymore, but she did during JMS's Amazing Spider-Man run. She found out in Amazing Spider-Man volume 2 #35 and is followed up in #37.

She knew until it was revealed it was just an actress impersonating her.
Then she knew again until a retcon wiped her memory of it. It's funny that Peter keeps that secret from her now when he should know she can handle it.

No.

And she's too busy getting her freak on to find out.

Frankly, JMS totally deconstructed EVERY friggin excuse Peter and all the writers ever used to justify why he never just told her the truth. As readers, we can't just accept Peter not telling her "because she's frail" because...well we know better now.

Heck, the movies did it and it worked out great there.

In the first movie only Harry Osborn's father knew peter was spiderman or had a really good idea.

in the second movie the people on the train saw peter's face but said they wouldn't tell anyone, then harry found out that peter was spiderman followed by doc ock and then mary jane

in the third movie the guy who plays sand man seen peter's face and probably knew from the newspaper who he was, and eddie brock knew spiderman was peter at the church.

I think Shadowsonic is talking about the conversation Peter had with May in Spider-Man 2 when she's moving out of her house. Her speech implies she might suspect, but nothing was ever outright stated she knew in any of them.

no aunt may does not know peter is spiderman. i think this is in the best interest of the character, if aunt may does know she may very well make peter make the most out of character decision ever in his existance. aunt may will tell peter he shouldnt be afraid of letting the world know he is spiderman

They're are scenes in 2 or 3 where I kind of thought that was May's subtext, but it was never stated outright.

...Of course, I can see a situation where Peter finally decides to tell May he's really Spider-Man. However, he choses to do so on a day when she and Jay have been banging each other incessantly to see which one would pass out first. Peter tells May less than 5 minutes after they called it a draw, and she then suddenly passes out with a heart attack. For the next two years, Peter is wracked with doubt and guilt over having caused May's collapse, when the real culprit was the near-fatal excessive old folks sex that May and Jay had gone through just a few minutes before.

Not that Peter will ever acknowledge this, especially since it will be revealed that marathon session only lasted 12 minutes and 32 seconds
