Although, she is sorta neat, in a horrible demonic plastic surgery victim/sadist sort of way.

Anyone got this issue. well I don't know how to do the spoiler blocking so I wont say anything but as a anime fan, this issue rocks because Blaze fights a demonic version of Sailor Venus from Hell. atleast that's what she look like. http://www.freewebs.com/lunaticsiyou/sailorvenus5zn.jpg

she had the same hair style and ribbon. atleast that's what I saw her. and she has her own gang of demon bikers with oni faces. This issue appeals to me as a anime fan but Jason Araron did a awesome by taking the features anime and twisted them to a hellish version as you see as the villians eyes have anime feature but creepy and looking like it popping and the sailor fuku she's wearing.

well thats my 2 cents on it. I'm glad Im a ghost rider fan.

You know, with each culture having it's own Ghost Rider. I picture Ichigo or some other soul reaper, vizard, ect from Bleach with a flaming hollow mask being a perfect canditate of a Japanese Ghost Rider. Tite Kubo should be best friends with Jason Araon snice they both have interesting concepts of the afterlife and how it works.

oh crap, sorry, I didnt see the thread. I got so excited with that issue that I didnt see it. damn, thanks for moving it. sorry if its a inconvience. Well atleast it's easier for people to notice the similar features of Sailor Venus and Skinbender. maybe she should team up with Skinner, you know the Lilin that use other people skins in the early Danny Ketch Ghost Rider series. that villian was cool.


I still can't get over how similar the hell looks. Im wondering if it's done on purpose as a horror parody of sailor moon and other magical girl series.

No idea if it was an homage to anything in particular, though.

I liked the issue, didn't love it.

I was more excited about the reunion with Care taker and Johnny Blaze.

And it looks like Johnny still has his powers, or is he more powerful now?? Didn't know he could burn an entire town and purge any demonic interference.

Perhaps a long time Ghost Rider fan could figure out what's up.
