Best Characters Per Family

Help me out here... I'm trying to figure out the "Best" characters (in a few categories) in each Marvel Family of books.

Also limiting this to heroes and allies for now.

I've also put in my own thoughts to start with, but I'm no expert.

X-TITLES

Best Fighter: Wolverine, Cable, Deadpool
Most Intelligent: Beast?
Most Powerful (non-cosmic): X-Man, Professor X, Phoenix
Strongest (Physically): Gladiator
Supreme Being: Roma?


AVENGERS (CLASSIC)

Best Fighter: Captain America
Most Intelligent: Henry Pym, Iron Man
Most Powerful (non-cosmic): Thor, Scarlet Witch
Strongest (Physically): Thor, Hercules
Supreme Being: Gamesmaster, Collector


AVENGERS (CURRENT)

Best Fighter: Ares, Wolverine
Most Intelligent: Iron Patriot, Henry Pym
Most Powerful (non-cosmic): Sentry
Strongest (Physically): Sentry
Supreme Being: none yet, I think


COSMIC

Best Fighter: Gammorah
Most Intelligent: Adam Warlock?
Most Powerful (non-cosmic): Silver Surfer, Starhawk, Nova
Strongest (Physically): Drax (the old version)
Supreme Being: Eternity, Living Tribunal

Best Fighter: Nick Fury? Spidey? Karnak?
Most Intelligent: Mr Fantastic
Most Powerful (non-cosmic): Doctor Strange, Black Bolt

I would take Iron Patriot out as most intelligent. You're forgetting Peter Parker completely in the Avengers category. Also, doesn't Wolverine technically count towards both the X-men and Avengers? Because I would put him as best fighter in current Avengers over Bullseye...he can just throw things with deadly accuracy (anything becomes a weapon in his hands, yada yada yada).

I'm not sure Thor, Phoenix, or even Sentry can be classified as "non-cosmic." The first two have had their share of cosmic adventures.

Thor, as a god, wouldn't be "cosmic".

Phoenix, as the avatar of a cosmic force, would...as would Silver Surfer, who wields the POWER COSMIC, and Nova, who's a cosmic cop. And Dr. Strange, who's the Sorcerer Supreme.

As for best fighter: other: with Shang Chi & Iron Fist (not to mention the Cat, Deadpool, and the Black Panther) around, Nick Fury and Spider-Man don't even rate.

Oh, just to clarify... when I say non-cosmic, I mean someone who isn't a cosmic being, a la Galactus, The Collector, etc. Just to separate it from the Supreme Being category.

Sure, PEter's smart... but Tony Stark-smart? They seem to be playing Osborn up as "Tony level."

Except the last one. :p I dunno about the Titan though, he does help the heroes out sometimes. But if I had to choose, I think I'd still put him in the "Villains" category.

Black Panther: how good of a fighter is he? Also, should he be in the running for Most Intelligent?

Groot messes me up, I have no idea what his "stats" would be.

Daredevil, Spidey, and the Punisher: these guys don't even rate, right? I mean compared to Wolvie and Cap?

Who's the better cosmic fighter, Gamora or Major Victory?

Black Bolt, Namor, Beta Ray Bill: Physically, how strong are these guys?

Nova, Quasar: How powerful are these guys? Surfer level?

The Agents of Atlas are also intriguing. They seem pretty powerful, but they're kinda new so it's hard to figure out where they rate. I think Bob's up there in intelligence, and they're really playing up Namora's strength.

Daredevil does, and I'd probably put him in the same tier as Steve and Logan. Certainly I'd put him over Nick Fury. (Who has generally excellent, if rare, h2h showings.) Spider-man is hard to judge because he fights with his powers, rather than his skill, and the Punisher is generally outclassed. Also, what about Danny Rand?

Thanos is the king of the one hand choke grab. Just ask the Surfer, Hulk, Mephesto ect... Between gasp for air, lol.

Really matters whos writing Black Bolt. I think he's portrade WAY more powerful then before. Thing's one shot him before to stop him in a crazed pyschotic fit. But he def seems top 10 level power. Namor type strength and city busting wind pipes.
