I like them both. I'm not ashamed to admit it. Heavy Metal wins, though. The entertainment is more diverse in Heavy Metal, imo, plus the excellent soundtrack!

Hey MarvelKnight, you gotta see "Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend". It's an unbelivably nasty, ultraviolent and sexually explicit Japanese erotic animated horror fantasy flick about this demon god named Chojin who is said that every 3000 thousand years that that he must unite the worlds of humans (Ours), demons and man-beasts together. A man-beast in Tokyo must fight against other demons as he searches for the man who will be possessed by Chojin.

It's shocking and explicit stuff with things like rape, tentacle naughty doings from demons on human girls, explicit animated sex, gore, exploding heads, exploding bodies, ripping eyes, bloody transformations, masturbation, lesbianism, bisexuality, fellatio, and every excess around. It's like "Heavy Metal" meets "Wicked City" and "Hellraiser", definitely like if a Disney movie was made by Eli Roth.

Yes Heavy Metal is sleazy but more in the Playboy sense while "Urotsukidoji" is like Hustler and Penthouse magazines.

Well almost any mature anime fan should watch "Legend of the Overfiend", it's like an experience and introduced tentacle rape anime to the world, once you see it you'll never be the same again. It's sort of an animated movie in the line of "Hostel" or "Hills Have Eyes (2006)" or "Saw".
