We are all well aware that through pity Emma Frost has tried to do the impossible and turn an ugly duckling into swan, in that respect she failed but we at least owe her enough for trying.
Rachel's mommy issues have caused her to mistake pity for endearment and she has latched onto the closest thing to a "Jean-Like Figure" she could find.

Realizing that her own erratic and really bad Jean impersonations have caused more harm to Rachel then good, Emma has distanced from her thus causing her to latch onto the next "Jean-Like Figure" (Xavier) and end up in space where she ended up finding a fragment of the Phoenix Force and losing it...leading her feeling abandoned yet again.

In contrast the Cuckoos were actively sought by the Phoenix Force, they are held very highly in Emma's and Jean's eyes. They keep to their own and are not attention seekers.

Does Rachel secretly wish she was a Cuckoo?
Should Rachel be the cuckoo amongst Cuckoos? Is Rachel an Ugly Duckling or is she really just a chameleon pretending to be of the avian species?

I guess Rachel needs to transform into a giant diamond to really trap that PF next time around.
Are the three-in-one still clones of Emma? Like X-23 is a clone of Wolverine? Or is Emma their 'mommy'... I forget.
Anyway, Rachel doesn't want to be like Emma, she was only humouring Emma... to make it easier for her dad. The only reason why she stopped hating Emma was the realization that Scott really does care for Emma. She can't learn anything from Emma, except how to seduce her father. Rachel and Scott already fixed their relationship.
Rachel has mommy issues for sure, but it's different with Xavier too. Rachel has always been a fan of Xavier's dream, she even wheeled him around and looked after him a teen. She formed Excalibur because of his dream. But, I think she went into space to kill some Shi'ar.
So, notions of a wicked step mother and step sisters aside, nope Rachel doesn't want or need to be a cuckoo, she's fine in space with mommy's credit card.... until it got cut up. Rachel just needs to plan a mother/daughter trip... but Jean is always so busy.

They are clones of Emma.
Well aside from the fact that 616 Scott and Jean aren't her real parents, Rachel did gain 5 points for updating her look after spending time with Emma. She lost the 5 points when she went back to biker gear.

I think if the Cuckoos are still more like a single unit than 3 individuals that are very similar, then no she would not fit and maybe not want to force into the 3 in 1. Perhaps if the Cuckoos grow up and develop more individually it would be interesting and possible? She could be like the Ugly Duckling and be the swan possibly in the end.
But I also want to ask, where is the image above from?

It's from a short lived Gambit solo series a few years ago. I think it was Vol. 4?

She may want to, but they will not have her. The Cuckoos are superior and will not allow Rachel into their ranks. Also they cast out Emma and allied themselves with the superior telepath, Jean Grey. So Rachel's training under Emma will cause them to distrust and hate her.
Similarly Jean cast Rachel out. So Rachel is better off latching onto Emma, who is used to settling for Jean's sloppy seconds anyway.

I know I do not understand english too well. How does one occasion of it happening make someone used to it?

Rachel's already accepted the title of White Warrior Princess. She's beating those Cuckoos at their own game.

It generally does not. Except in the mind of the previous poster apparently.

Actually I think that the Cuckoos would welcome her into their ranks, as she is a thorn in Emma's side. They would know that Emma has no true liking of Rachel, and would ally themselves with her to get another dig at Emma. Also, she's the daughter of both Jean and Scott, so that would make Rachel's appeal go up. But really, why would Rachel want to be a Cuckoo?
And Jean has more than made up for her not accepting Rachel the first time they met.

The Cuckoos are an elite breed, Rachel wouldn't stand a chance. Pls close thread.

The question -- not unlike most of the polls that you see at the top of these threads is/are nonsensical. That's to say -- The question(s) is/are phrased in a way to get the polled to answer in poler's favor either way you answer.
Why indeed:rolleyes: Rachel, knows the role that Emma Frost played in the corruption of Phoenix/Jean Grey. I, say that it is Emma Frost and the Cuckoo who wanna be "Grey-Summers" considering that every time I look one more facet of Jean and or Rachel is cut and pasted onto the Frostitue and her Frostettes. I, see less and less of Emma Frost A.K.A ."The White Queen" with each passing issue... And more and more of Jean Grey. Soon we'll see Emma going to the mall and baking cookies.
And Jean has more than made up for her not accepting Rachel the first time they met.
Sadly, many posters here suffer from selective amnesia. I fear you will be making that very statement for the next few months:wink:
