Saw this on the Travel Channel's "Extreme" series last night, and could not believe it:

"Modern Toilet" -- a restaurant in Taiwan, that's themed to the bathroom (including dishes shaped like toilets, cups shaped like urinals, and food themed to excrement).

I love eating in the bathroom!



Cuts down on pointless movement. My bathroom is a painful 20 feet away.

Hopefully the "furniture" wasn't used when the restaurant owners acquired it all.

This restaurant gives new meaning to all kinds of phrases:
"This is the shit"
"I'm pissy drunk"
"What is this crap?"
"Kiss the porcelain god"
"Bottom feeder"
Bathroom humor -- egads, does it get old?

It does give the chef a lot of room to create in the menu. I would put all kinds of lovely brown sauces on things.

When I worked at the mental hospital as a janitor, once saw a guy heading into the bathroom while gobbling a sack of microwave popcorn. I guess it saves time.

I wonder if they serve toilet stew?

And there is, or was, a popular Scandanavian candy called Dog Farts...

Who could come up with such revolving ideas.

I like to eat NICE looking food from plates or bowls and I'm sure every other semi sane and sane person has the same opinion.

I'd shut the place down immediately.

Apparently it's a HUGE hit.

the restaurant is a chain! With 8-9 restaurants thruout Singapore & Taiwan.
