Around The World by Daft Punk is pretty great.

The Freemason's totally ripped that off for 'Rain Down Love', btw:

As much as I'm not a huge Madonna fan, I loved the 'Express Yourself' video that was a homage to METROPOLIS.

Most of Daft Punk's videos have been pretty great to be honest. chemical Brothers have a really smart video for Star Guitar which follows the same idea as Daft Punk's Around the World - in this case each beat is represented by stuff whizzing past the train window we're looking through. Quite trippy if you watch it in the right mood.

For sheer insanity and creativity -- OK Go's "Here it Goes Again" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv5zWaTEVkI

Also for INCREDIBLE creativity Janelle Monae's "Many moons" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHgbzNHVg0c

I wouldn't even say that was Janet's best. That honour should go to Rhythm Nation. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk7i_EPxTlY)

Oh yes, I love that one. I can't wait for the next suite to come out.

If we count fan videos, how about Elvis vs. Anime? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VljYCDXE6I&feature=related)

I think this is a winner right here. The song covers Sylvester, Yazoo, and Dead Or Alive, all in one go (There could be another song in there as well)........Plus, the dancing is fantastic.

I thank you, bert, for involuntarily introducing me to this bearband group. I see they have diversity, in that they may also have the greatest rap song in the past 15 years (Or, perhaps since MC Miker & Deejay Sven were rocking the charts) with this song:

For me, it's these three

Straight Up - Paula Abdul

Mr. Vain - Culture Beat (story of my current life... In a bad way)

Hot Hot Hot - The Cure

If one of those don't count, replace it with Strangelove - Depeche Mode.

OK, I think we are all having different interpretations... I think some of us are discussing best dance song, while others discuss best dance video.

Everyone who has put out a link has put out links to videos.

There are plenty of songs I like, where I can't stand the videos, so I wouldn't list them.

I was thinking of listing "Always" by Erasure, but I wouldn't count that as dance music since it's kind of a slow song (Although there are fast remixes of it out there).

As the title of the thread clearly indicates, this is for Best Dance Music VIDEO. So, your favorite VIDEO from the dance music genre.

Yeah, which I listed my 4 favorites of in that category. All 4 are dance songs, and had videos created which I like.......I don't have one particular favorite.

And it's rare to like a video where you don't like the song itself, especially when considering favorites.

I forgot about this one, which would be my 5th choice!
