What is up with War Heroes?

The title says it all. What happened to Millar's War Heroes mini? I loved the first 2 issues and I am a Millar junkie so I've been awaiting the rest of the series. Does ANYBODY know when this will be completed?

I know he is busy with: Kick-Ass, Fantastic Four, Wolverine, American Jesus, Ultimate Avengers and Hollywood stuff but I need my War Heroes. What gives?

I haven't a clue. I know Tony Harris has to do 10 more issues of Ex Machina and I heard something about them waiting for money for the film rights to come through but otherwise no definite answer on what's the deal.

I was wondering the same thing. It was really good for the first two books. War Heroes was supposedly the idea that Millar was going to use for Ultimates 3 if he had written it.

Something like that apparently. I think it was going to be split into two books. Ultimates and Ultimate Avengers (which he's doing at Marvel now). The Ultimate Avengers was going to be the superheros and The Ultimates were going to be Nick Fury's own super soldier program. I think one of the Annuals planted the seeds for that one.

I think the book is fun and all but the wait has killed my enthusiasm.
