Superman has never really interested me, until I heard about the New Krypton storyline, and that's because Superman is not the only "Super-human" anymore. My question is whether I should jump in with The World of New Krypton series, or if I should do some back-reading? Or are things going to go back to Superman being "all-powerful" after this series is over? The reason I have not read Superman up to this point is because I personally am not interested in "Superhero" stories at all, the only one i pull is Batman, because he technically doesn't have any powers, despite Morrison's run so far. My last question is am I being steered wrong by the look of The World of New Krypton, being that he still faces little physical threat, or is the series gonna take a turn and make it more of a moral thing, and what, if anyone knows, is going to happen with the Superman title after this series? Sorry for the barrage of questions I'm just wanting to know what I'm getting into, before I spend my money. Thanks!

So far, World of New Krypton does seem to be, almost more than anything else, a story about conflicting morals. Superman is on a police force, so there's bound to be some physical problems as the series goes on. But I really enjoyed issue #2 and how it spotlighted how Superman thinks, and how inventive he can be.

Keep in mind that I, too, am not a fan of Superman.

So I have decided to read World of New Krypton, with back issues. My question now is should I be reading the other Superman titles, other than the main story, which is now 15 long? Basically should I be reading Superman, and Action Comics, and Supergirl, did I miss any, or are they all unrelated until Supes gets back? Thanks for helping the newbie!
