I have another one. I've got some thoughts, but would appreciate others.

My thought is that one romance cover thread is one too many.

My thought is that one romance cover thread is one too many.

Not nearly enough! Keep 'em coming, one and all!

The current instance: While Andru and Esposito are connected with Israel Waldman's enterprises and were therefore my first thought, this doesn't look good enough for those guys.

Some random thoughts:

The face of the girl in the background looks familiar for some reason.

Hmmm... the guy's feet make me think of Pat Broderick.

Maybe it's Rich Buckler?

My hint to bear in mind is: ignore the cars, they're straight out of a catalogue.

I know it's not at all plausible, but bits of it remind me of Marie Severin.

This reminds me of a Weisinger edited DC cover. Picture those three characters as Superman, Lana, and Lois.

Time for me to start the Neal Adams romance cover thread.

The mechanic girl looks a little like the hand of Sinnott. Though, I don't know of any history of his with Skywald.

I thought someone was swiping the poses from Kurt Schaffenberger and the dialogue from Mort Weisinger..

I got a Schaffenberger vibe myself... Though not as accomplished...

That makes 3 of us.

Anyone else see any Jim Mooney in there?

As I said earlier, it reminds me of a Weisinger edited comic's cover. Lois Lane was what I was thinking, and Schaffenberger was the artist I had in mind. The car on the left reminds me of ones he drew in LL, and the bell bottoms on the male look like those he drew on Jimmy Olsen in the 70s.

Well, Schaffenberger did do some work for Skywald after falling out with DC I think.

That makes 3 of us. Four. I think it's Schaffenberger, too. The heavy, "slick" inks bring Syd Shores to mind.
