View Full Version : Question from Steven Seagle's Run on Superman
In the 10 cent issue that started Saegle's run on Superman - Perry found Clark's unused passports in a storage closet & asked Clark how he traveled all over the world w/o them. I don't remember if Clark ever addressed this with Perry. Does anyone remember how Clark explained this?

Well since Clark is suppose to be friends with Superman, one would think the MoS would help his friend in saving money on airfare.

Bruce Wayne thinks Perry has to know because he'd be a poor reporter not to. Kinda of like how Frank Miller showed Jim Gordon is too smart not to know Bruce Wayne is Batman.
But it's one of those things that was abandoned and rightfully so. How interesting is Perry knowing or trying to find out anyway?

I've always agreed with this particular interpretation about both Perry White and Jim Gordon. I'd be upset if any writer ever tried to confirm or deny it. I think it makes both characters special in the DC mythos.

There was an issue - I think before Seagle's run, during Jeph Loeb and Company's - in which it was implied that Perry knew (when he "fired" Clark).
But that's been since thrown into oblivion.
