I personally like the Skrulls...they're instigators.

I like them a lot too... I think shapeshifting is a cool power to have, and one that lends itself to a lot of neat and varied stories. I also like their origin; peaceful race that became warlike in response to the Kree aggression. I hated their showing in Secret Invasion, but probably because I can't stand religious fanatics. They've been overexposed by SI, but hopefully down the road Marvel will bring them back (in a smaller dose  ); maybe as a mercantile/trade empire instead of a military one. That would be a neat twist; the rest of the major MU alien races are military powers; but real power flows from commerce...

The Asgardians are technically aliens, right?

I'm pretty sure Asgardians aren't aliens. Anyway, my vote goes to the alien pikachus.

The Badoon...you know they are just waiting to sweep in and rule the universe after the Kree and Shi'ar are done knocking the holy crap out of each other.

Oh yeah. They were already starting to build them up in the Guardains of the Galaxy book before War of the Kings even started.

alien pikachus.
Still one of my favourite moments/panels in Conquest.

The Asgardians are technically aliens, right?Marvel really only addresses the issue obliquely and contradictorily. The profile on Marvel.com says they "... [are] believed to have inhabited Earth at one time only to move to Asgard sometime later." On the other hand, they're listed under Alien Races in OHOTMU.
Personally, I think the best way to phrase it is that they're effectively aliens, albeit extradimensional rather than extraterrestrial.

Illegal aliens  ...next thing you know they'll want to start mowing my lawn. (I mean the Asgardians only in this reference...ah hell it is ruined when you have to qualify it)

This is actually a hard question for me. I like almost all of Marvel's alien species. But I went with the Shi'ar just because they we the 1st group i was exposed to when read Claremont and Byrne's original run on Uncanny.
I would really like to see more stuff done with the Dire Wraiths. I think they have been grossly overlooked since ROM ended.

The Brood saga was my introduction to the X-Men, so they're a sentimental favorite.
I also liked the Acanti, from that same arc.

I know it sounds crazy, but how about humans?
Yeah, everyone.
I mean think about the perspective...what we do to each other...our planet + etc.
Imagine looking at us from the outside, I mean ALL of us, if you were a space alien race, would you really want to interract with earthlings?

Humans are soft, squishy and pink. Kree are blue and sturdy and live to fight.
Oh how about Oldstrong from Sakaar? They had funky powers.

Love all of the alien races of the Marvel Universe, especially the galactic empires like the Shi'ar, Kree, Skrull, and Badoon. Seriously, I think one of the appeals of the Marvel Cosmic line for me is that there's this sense of grandeur with the alien races. Whenever I talk about these empires or their representatives with their grand titles (i.e. The Imperial Guard, Ronan the Accuser, Majestrix Lilandra, etc.), I sit up a bit straighter, and my voice goes all Jean-Luc Picard/faux British accent. I love that sense of dignity and pride associated with these races.
Still, I have my personal favorites. Always liked the design of Yondu and the Alpha Centauris, and there's something cute about the Rigellians and their big heads. However, the alien race that has a special place in my heart have to be the Celestials. I've always been a bit "Chariots of the Gods" fan, and I just love conceptual godlike beings. Doesn't get anymore godlike than the "space god" Celestials.

Do the Inhumans count? I voted Skrulls but they'd be a close second.

We Kree have already interacted with you humans and have made a drastic improvement to your species. We call our new breed of humans... Inhuman.

I voted for the Celestials because they still have their mystique and aura of elder power and knowledge intact. They remind me of Galactus back before he was jobbed out to every hero and villain in comics for the past two decades.

I voted for the Skrulls because even after suffering from acute Skrull fatigue in the aftermath of Secret Invasion, they're still my favourite of the alien races in the Marvel universe.

Humans are soft, squishy and pink. Kree are blue and sturdy and live to fight.
Well, look at our rep- humans are extremely violent and warlike- in fact, the planet exists in a state of perpetual war somewhere at all times.
NO central government.
NO advanced technology or spaceflight or teleportation.
NO development of local solar-system or planetray defenses.
Yet, the humans have defeated Galactus several times, turned back the Celestials, stimied the Kree/Skrull war twice, defeated the Dire Wraiths (with Rom's help) and have an erratic genetic structure that produces large numbers of super-powered beings.
Various cosmic beings often turn to humans for aid and/or empowerment as avatars (Captain Mar-Vell, Quasar, Doctor Strange, captain Universe, etc.).
The planet is protected by various powerful interdimensional races (Asgardians, Vashanti, a Watcher, Eon, Epoch, etc).
Though technologicaly primitave as a whole, the planet has produced galactic celebrities such as:
Quasar (Protector of The Universe)
Nova Prime (Richard Ryder)
Drax the Destroyer
Nova (Herald of Galactus- destroyer of Skrull Throneworld)
The X-Men
The Fantastic Four
The Avengers
Starlord
The Earth solar system also includes the moon Titan- home of Earth's Eternals and birthplace of Thanos.
Really, just announcing that you're from Earth should clear a bar- or start a huge fight!

Eh, but the Cosmic scene is supposed to dwarf alot of those achievements, hence why the power levels get so damn big in the outer universe.
Xanadar birthed the Nova Corps and 2 heralds being Firelord and Air Walker.
Gladiator may or may not have been a Herald at one point.
Captain Marvel as Protector of the Universe
The Infinity Watch
Skrulls creating the first Cosmic Cube
Kree Supreme intelligence being one of the most complex supercomputers ever.

I voted Skrulls.
They are the classic case of bad ugly aliens from outer space.
And the shape sifter abilities they have can make great stories.
And they have the Super Skrull (a great villian).
For all that they are my favorite alien race.
In second comes the Watchers.
Always thought the Watchers are a interesting alien race as well.
Very peacefull comparing with most of the other Marvel Alien races which is a cool element for a Alien Race in my opinion.

Now, I like certain individuals of certain races better than, well, probably all of these choices.
But overall, I think as a race, I like the Brood the best.
The only ones I am familiar with is Shi'ar

It’s mostly a good way to get shot in the head.
Captain Marvel as Protector of the Universe[/qoute]
Marv seemed to think Earth was worth turning on his own race for.
Plus his successor (Quasar) is from Earth. Another Earthling (Gravity) could have had the job but turned it down.
[quote]The Infinity Watch
Moondragon is human.
Drax is human.
Adam Warlock was created by humans.
Thanos is an Eternal from Titan … which makes humans really distant cousins.
The Watch was based on Earth and their “landlord” (Mole Man) was human.
How does that one lessen humanity’s importance to the cosmos?

Most of these alien races must think Earthlings are some crazy dangerous universal backwoods lunatics. No wonder some like Skrulls hate them so much and the Silver Surfer just shakes his head.
They still drive fossil fuel cars...but they have stopped Galactus a couple of dozen times.

Never really considered Titanians part of Earth with all their crazy powers and tech. By my standard, Moondragon and Drax are essentially creations of Titan because they couldn't really exist without being on Titan.
I think Humanity is of lesser importance in the Cosmos because the majority of it isn't really involved. All the examples you listed are very special exceptions whereas the majority of humans are sitting around, Earthbound and warmongering while the Kree, Skrulls and Shi'ar build vast galactic empires.
