I've been reading on the web lately that Hellboy 2 director Guillermo Del Toro has given permission for another director to take the helm of a spinoff movie/tv show based on the BPRD. How great would that be. I watched HB 2 several times solely for the purpose of seeing Prince Nuada. What a wonderful character he was. Although his methods were extreme he made us examine the gray area that differentiates good and evil. He had such a unique and strong character with his views on the world and mankind's destruction of it.
I would love to see the spinoff somehow revive his character. Perhaps with the stipulation that he joins a team of BPRD agents. Speaking of which, a spinoff would introduce us to different agents with extraordinary powers.

If I recall, Nuada died. I don't see him coming back at all.

Well, a serialized snip-off - no - spin-off, would likely be the only place for possibly delving out or revisiting 'Del Toro + Mignola'-characters.
I'd like to see such .
I'd like seeing such better than Heroes. By miles and miles.
The BPRD like the new X-Files, or better yet, the new Star Trek? Yes please.
And welcome osani .

I'd like to see a different take. Hopefully closer to the comic's canon, but at least different enough that it wouldn't encroach on the other established universes.
I'd love to see a serious fantasy/sci-fi adventure serial on one of the big networks. A show that isn't afraid to put its heroes in honest to goodness peril and maybe if we're lucky, some of them won't make it through.
If someone wants to make that. I'm in. Keep it away from Syfy though.

How about B.P.R.D: Special Victims Unit on NBC.

I think it would be way too expensive... Heroes is a budget-burster, even without expensive prosthetics and makeup on most of the major characters.
I also have a feeling it wouldn't be very good, but these are my own personal suspicions and are not founded in anything besides conjecture and gut feelings.
how about Mila Kunis as Liz Sherman:tongue:
and Will Ferrel as Daimio

I want to see a recreation of the Boot Camp scene from Full Metal Jacket for BPRD new recruits, with R Lee Ermey as a drill sergeant.
