I'd trade Barry Allen, Bart Allen and Donna Troy to get J'onn back. The JLA is hopeless without him.

The only thing I really did like about J'onn's death was the moment in FC:Requiem when everyone else had left the funeral and Batman placed an Oreo cookie on the casket. Got a little teary.

Considering the current JLA is also a JLA without Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Hal, Green Arrow, Black Canary (for the moment), Flash, Aquaman, Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Sue, Atom, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, etc. they could certainly use the manpower and pure power...

wow looks interesting. The MM had really grown into himself as a character, it was a waste to bump him off so suddenly. Plus, he is one of the relatively few DC characters that are known by the general public thanks to the cartoons.

I miss him more and more as we see the JLA about to go into another period of transition.

Hopefully as the dust of Blackest Night settles we'll see him returned in some way. At that point we can have a JLA roster the likes of which we haven't seen in some time with Hal, J'onn, Barry and Ollie all back in one piece.

I don't believe J'onn is gone for good. And I would love to see the JLA roster Rev suggests, it would be great to have Barry, J'onn, Hal and Ollie all on the team again!

I second everything that's been said and if DC does decide to bring him back, I hope they at least acknowledge that the JLA simply can't work without him.

BTW, I know the Black Lanterns are supposed to be the reanimated dead but what is up with that corpse look? Isn't he supposed to be able to alter his appearance? So why does he have to look like a McFarland reject? :confused:

Some writers wrote him well, and made him seem a worthwhile addition to the team, but a lot of writers just wrote him as a green Superman with a few extra powers. I never much cared for him outside of the Giffen/DeMatteis JLA.
