I tend to bail from comics whenever there is a huge cross-over. I just can't afford to keep up and figure it's easier to catch up to things when it's all over.

I am just now getting through 52.

Basically, what is good reading right now and what should I read to fill in the gap between 52 and now? From posts here, I seem to have missed out on a couple of other x-overs (Final Crisis and Blackest Night?).

To give you an idea of my tastes, I am a huge JLA and JSA fan. Those are the only books I've read with regularity, but I also liked what I've seen from Johns on Green Lantern. I thought Identity Crisis was an abomination.

Thank you all very much in advance.

Infinite Crisis>52>Countdown (though, you can probably skip that...)>Final Crisis gets us to now, with Blackest Night coming in... two months?

Also, read Sinestro Corps war. It leads up to Blackest Night somewhat, and is the best event... in a long while.

Yeah, definitely skip Countdown, everything in it was pretty much retconned and ignored.
