Good Lord!

I was just watching Legend when curiosity struck me and I hust had to check IMDB.
Turns out that Darkness, the humongous red demon was actually Tim Curry.

Itīs for me the most radical change EVER between actor and character, completely unrecognizable. Voice, appearance, size, everything!

I am officialy blown away!

Wait it took you IMDB to tell it was Tim Curry? I'd make a joke about trying to sell you something that would paint you as guilible but I don't think I could pull it off and it would also come off as dickish.

Believe it or not, yes, I was completely fooled.
He has a different voice in the movie, a different build, his face is completely covered in red latex and I know Tim mostly from comedic roles.
So, yeah, this was a complete surprise to me.

Now that is something I didn't know. Also interesting is that the kid from the great german film The Tin Drum is also in Legend.

The guy that played Gump has a thick German accent, so his voice was dubbed over by the same woman(!) who played Blix, Darkness's lead goblin.

I love Legend. One of my all-time favorite movies.
