Another crossover event happening the month after this?
I liked New Krypton and all but I don't like seeing crossover storylines every couple of months.

I really hope this crossover's worth it.
Hey, wait a second...
Johns said something among the lines of Superman being on earth by the time Blackest Night hits (august).
Could this crossover be related to BN?

I had been thinking about dropping Robinson's Superman, but if there's a big crossover coming up, that gives me second thoughts.

I am so looking forward to the Captain Atom co-feature. I wish the solicit for it gave some detail about it though. Because that was pretty damn vague.
I happen to be enjoying Robinson's Superman too. I'll be great when Steel has a more prominent role. I like Guardian and Mon-El too, though I wish the artist would update their costumes A LITTLE. I mean, seriously. At least get rid of them wearing underwear on the outside.
That WoNK cover is pretty great.

I like the idea of addressing the possible paradox of Lar and Sodam meeting since Lar has no knowledge of the LoSH yet and Sodam did not recognize Lar when they met in the future.
That WoNK cover is pretty great.I love that they're getting Frank to do the covers.

Shame they haven't got him doing any monthly books, or even arcs. I love seeing his covers here and there, but he's just being wasted. :frown:

So when is Secret Origins supposed to come out?

I'm going to hedge my bets now and guess that Captain Atom is going to be "yet another one of General Lane's weapons" in the battle against Superman, almost riffing on the arc in Justice League Unlimited with his military duty overriding his friendship with Superman ...
However ... I doubt it'll play quite the same, as there's a LOT of expository catch-up work to do to get Capt. Atom back to Capt. Atom and not lame Monarch. And I'd like to see a character redemption with him ultimately joining the side of Superman's "let's kick the crap out of Project 7734" crossover that'll inevitably happen. And hey, just for good measure ... throw in a little bit of that Doctor Manhattan style "I'm so far detached from humanity that I've actually gone around the bend and become naive again" mindset ...

Very good theory.
The backup stories have generally been connected to the main book but I couldn't figure out the Captain Atom one. This makes perfect sense.

Any idea of when Adventure Comics will be out and how that title will fit into the others?

Any idea of when Adventure Comics will be out and how that title will fit into the others?
The main hints for Adventure come from the cover, and the Lex Luthor Origins & Omens ... but it seems pretty likely that Superman's "mission" in Adventure is to right the wrongs that Brainiac has done and to rebuild the various cities in bottles with new worlds - which ultimately ties to the Legion of Super-Heroes, since several of those planets are mentioned as being in bottles, and it gives them (the big three Legion members especially) even closer ties to Superman, since he's basically their planet's saviors from Brainiac.
Other things it'll very likely explore? More Brainiac himself, possibly chasing Superman through the cosmos. Legion adventures themselves will almost definitely be in Adventure Comics. There's a good chance of Superboy playing a part in it ... actually it's possible that Superboy will be the one conducting the restoration mission for Superman, if he comes back in time.
Luthor's new "friendship" (not quite) with Brainiac ... the various Kryptonites ... Krypto ... they'll pop up. Starman's connection to the past and how his suit is a special "map of the cosmos" might be an absolutely key part of how Superman restores these destroyed worlds, and Bizarro is on the cover as well.
That's the jist of what seems to be teased, based on various hints from Last Son, Legion, New Krypton, and the upcoming cover for Adventure # 1.
