Agree or disagree? Is Mystique a Wolverine villian? I don't think so. What about the Gorgon? Also, Cyber is dumb.

She (Mystique) antagonized him more than once in his own book, except for the one time when he took her to the mansion with him because she wasn't in her right mind.

After Get Mystique, I 'd say yes.

They had their conflicts but I wouldn't categorize her as a Wolverine villian. The only time they really fought is in the "Get Mystique" arc, and that was on Cyke's orders. Plus they totally had sex.

Well its not like Magneto is a "Wolverine villian" either. He is even less of one than Mystique. But they are two villians that have affected his life more than others.

Magneto became a Wolverine villian when he ripped out his adamantium. Granted he is not strictly a Wolverine villian, but there is a lot between them. I wouldn't have put him in this Top Ten though.

Of course he is a Wolverine villian, but he is an X-Men villian before Wolverine villian. I was just trying to say that Mystique and Magneto both fit as Wolverine villians even though they aren't directly Wolverine related.

True, I just wish they had stuck to Wolverine exclusive villians.

Wolverine greatest villian is himself and the next few years for X-23 will replace him

Gorgon's on this list? He messed with Wolverine for like, two arcs of his book. I suspect he's more or less there to promote the fact that he'll be appearing in Secret Warriors, and people need to realize who the hell he is.

Personally, I'm more surprised they didn't put Romulus on this list, to further deepen the mystery there.

gorgon is not actually on the list, Badger was simply suggesting that maybe he should be on their other than mystique

Hmm. If anyone gets removed, I'd say replace them with Romulus.

Mystique, though, vs. Logan specifically? Before Get Mystique, there weren't a lot of tangles between them. Hell, they went on a date at the Eiffel Tower in a Sabretooth miniseries at one point.

Seems like an good list. Is great how, even after getting killed in a wimpy fashion, Sabertooth remains Logan's biggest vilain, while Romulus isn't even on the list.

Yay double for Viper!

Boo on the bad fashion that Mystique is sporting. Black pleather pants and sensible mom boots? Screams Tori Spelling on 90210. What, couldn't get a good image of her with the bone belt and white slit skirt?

Was there no room on the list for Overexposure?

Dude!!! What are you talking about!? Cyber was awesome. One hand has claws tipped with powerful hallucinogens and the other tipped with strong poison. Every time he scratches Wolverine he trips his ass off. I always thought that was great (especially with Sam Keith doing the artwork), and I personally hope he gets worked into the Wolverine movie sequel (likely to be set in Japan) in some way, shape or form.

Get bent. Go post in a Cecelia Reyes thread or something.

I do really like Wolverine as a character, but I do wish they would limit the team books. I do not mind all the solo books they want. I believe they made a mistake killing off Sabertooth. I think they should have made them related some way. Also get rid of the whole dog-man cat-man stuff. It would be cool if they tied all the wolf like characters together, like a common ancester or something.

It would be cool if they tied all the wolf like characters together, like a common ancester or something.Well, Chris Claremont tried the first (originally intending to have Sabretooth be Wolverine's father), and Chuck Austen tried the latter in 'Dominant Species'...

Ick, Mystique and Wolverine were lovers? Groan! They never add romantic backstory between two male characters.

If I were to make a list here's who I would have put on it

10. Deadpool

09. Donald Peirce and the Reavers

08. Bloodscream

07. Silver Samurai

06. Cyber

05. Weapon X program

04. Gorgon and the Hand

03. Lady Deathstrike

02. Magneto

01. Sabertooth

Magneto should be very high on the list, Magneto and Wolverine have a very long history not just from Fatal Attractions. Wolverine cut Magneto's head off (which was retconned) and crippled him in Genosha while Magneto threw him into the sun (which was retconned).

NickFury90

That got retconned? Eeh don't pay attention to current X-men outside the occasional X-force.

Who the **** is Cyber?

Eww. Seriously, Torp? Viper's beef curtains are offensive at this point. Plus, she's like, the White Warrior Princess of the Hellfire Club. Worst. Position. Ever.

I love Viper. First marvel bitch that ever impressed me with her fierceness. The Paul Smith shot of her getting out of the car they listed, brilliant.

And I may be the biggest Hellfire Club fan of all time. Love anything to do with HC.
