Batman is always prepared.
So do you think Bruce came up with a "doomsday scenario"? Everything is lost on earth, whether from alien invasion, nuclear bombs, whatever, so what happens? I was reading ABC, Terra Firma, where the Terror has a last ditch failsafe program, and it got me to thinking.

I'm probably in the minority but personally, I think this "Batman is always prepared" stuff has been overdone.

Batman has his sci-fi closet to deal with aliens, and I think the batcave can be a bunker for nukes.

Batman would spray of anti-doomsday spray that he got from his Adam West days. j/k

i think batman had ulterior motives when he funded the Watchtower. There is no other real reason for the HUGE laser beam it has

I agree. It hearkens back to the campy 60s movie where he asks for Robin to hand him his trusty bat shark repellent.
He's an educated guy with appropriate fail safes, but I don't think he has plans in place for every dang eventuality.

i think any doomsday scenario has to take out account the method of the doom. kinda hard to invent a solution when you don't know what the problem is. Swamp Thing could help with the global warming bit though ha ha

Gotham County Line has a few zombies in it, and a funny exchange between Deadman and Batman. he also meets his dead parents. once again

I agree. I think it's kind of boring to never see Batman think on his feet, OR lose sometimes.
It also smacks of lazy writing.
Joker: I'm going to do something crazy.
Batman: Don't bother. I've already calculated everything you could possibly do and have 8 dozen counter measures prepared.

Reminds me of the issue of Robin where he's on a date, and Batman shows up. He asks Robin to come with him to take out some villain and Robin asks if he can take care of it alone and Batman says something like "There are 46 ways to take him down, and 12 of them I can pull off alone."
Later on Batman crashes through the roof down into Robins date, and later on he accuses Batman of purposely doing it. And Batmans excuse is "I hadn't taken into account that he could fly now." So hey, he's not always prepared!
PS: Gotham City really needs to put a ban on glass roofs. They never last long anyway.

I disagree, i think alot of people mistake his "being prepared" to him being the uber detective and working out villians plans and doing something to counter...
besides batmans thing is being prepared for most eventualities taking that away would be like taking flying away from superman.
although everything in moderation i always say....
