Landon if anyone remembers seemed to crave being the "family man". He would marry and stay togethor with each wife a number of years , have kids ...and as they got to be near adults , ...somehow find someone else. He did this thru 3 wives and numerous kids. Its like Landon needed to have children in his life. (in his autobiography its said he's discuss all his children with people...)

Well aside from giving birth to their children and raising them at home while he trekked around the world (apparently he was on set filming Gallipoli when their first was born - the birth was telegraphed down a phoneline for him to listen to), Gibson's wife has also lived according to the frankly whacked out religious views of his father.
