With all the Secret Six hype I think its good to point out that this series (at least Gail's 16 issue run) was really awesome. Its a twisted messed up funny book in a similar way to SS and everyone should check out the trades of this far too short lived piece of Gail Simone brilliance. Anyone that likes Morrison's New X-Men should give this a shot too. I believe the concept of the series was Morrison's.

It was. And Simone wrote it up through issue 20, I believe. (There were a couple fill-ins.)

I wouldn't call it similar to Secret Six, the books had very different core aesthetics, but they're both good comics.

I was a big fan of this book up to a certain point. I was annoyed when the Search for Ray Palmer didn't actually pan out in the series itself, but that's more of an editorial decision and is no derision on Gail's writing at all. Ryan Choi was an interesting character with a really great supporting cast. The stories were good and the ideas were crazy fun.
