What Wind Dancer Did Next

Judging from this answer, the only thing that could happen to Sofia Mantega - the character better known as Wind Dancer to all those who read New X-Men before the witch started casting spells - was expulsion or death, once Mr Kyle and Mr Yost took over writing the New X-Men series. The former is the route they took with her.

She was replaced in the cast by X-23, who is a super character. But what if Wind Dancer had been kept among the cast of the New X-Men, even as a supporting member of the cast - would she have been killed off later on, or would she have survived and been the least-annoying character in the book?

What would have happened during Messiah Complex, and would her absence have meant that New Warriors was never commissioned, so Stacy X would also live on in the Marvel Universe?

Most importantly - would she have ditched the man in her life and hooked up with her soul-mate, Wallflower?

I wish she would've returned though, FIERCE and angareeee as evah to kick some ass. I think while Prodigy returned for practical reasons, she should've came back with so much ambition, motivation, and energy that was definitely going to endanger her--but moreso without the protection and guidance from the X-Men.

I think big boy Hellion would probably make her stay on the sidelines as their cheerleader, but she'd eventually come and simultaneously save and tap that ass.

Could we fit a guest star spot over on Rogue's team while we're at it? I like this version of events. She loses her powers, which saves her from being sniped, but eventually gets them back. She's not infallible, yet still interesting.

Linka - The website states that Linka is "the most cerebral of the five Planeteers." What they really mean is that Linka is the most anal-retentive of the five Planeteers. She's the uptight one. Every kids show has one—we had Brainy Smurf, Storm from X-Men, Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles (Raphael in the comics), Piggy on Muppet Babies. But Linka takes this to a whole new level.
