SO its time to finally ask this most important question. Would you buy a Ruby and Rachel Summers mini series? If so who do you think should be the creative team on it?What themes would you explore? What type of plot would you have?

No... if PAD wrote it I'd be intrigued but the only way I would buy it would be if it got great reviews. And I'd buy it in TPB then.

I'm not a Rachel fan... I feel like she is just Jean, which is why she is only majorly used when Jean is dead. And Ruby hasn't done anything to be a real fan of hers yet.

Ruby ongoing now! With supporting cast of Layla Miller, Madrox and Old Man Cyke! Written by PAD! Rachel can be a part of it too, I guess.

That actually could kind of be a cool cast. I would probably have to ditch Borgclops though. Maybe add Cable into the bunch, or Bishop.

Old Emma from Oldmanlogan could make a crossed-dimension appearance.

if it has Rachel, i'm there with or without Ruby...although i like her too, so her presence certainly wouldn't be a bad thing.

Old Emma from Oldmanlogan could make a crossed-dimension appearance.

And then she could hook up with Cyclops and they could have their happy ending in transdimensional wedded bliss.

Old Lady Emma and OMC would be very cool together. That is until Scott wakes up first and sees Emma without, uh, telepathic effects.

I'm sure Old Emma would prefer a real thing not a cybernetic enhanced penis.

ive devised a plot for this mini.

Sage with all her omnipotence is drinking coffee in the crystal palace and accidentaly knocks it off onto the keyboard before her and it causes a malfunction in the space time continuum that begins merging the days of future past dimension with ruby's dimension. So Sage is all like Oh sh@t. So anyway Sage plucks Rachel from time and transfer her to assist Ruby in stopping the dimensional combination of both realities.

OTHER.

I'd buy a Ruby Mini no matter what.
I can't stand Rachel. So, if she was in it, well, I'd have to think about it.

Only if Claremont gets to write it and has to deal with a 'no Ruby killing' editrial mandate.

I guess that falls under Other.

Claremont is not the killing type. He'd turn Ruby into a powerful, sexually confused character who, by sheer force of will, was able to overcome the adversity of being an illegitimate daughter to her militant, controlling and emotionally distant father. She would teach Rachel to truly open up and drink heartily from the well of life, all while wearing tight leather. She would suffer a debilitating injury that would cause Rachel to care for her, and in the midst of the dystopian future world, Rachel would be forced to bathe the suffering Ruby with her own tongue. In the end Ruby would persevere, find a roughtrade man whose passion mirrored her own and have a "will she or won't she" relationship. Rachel would say "What the devil?" and feel her powers sing like a symphony within her and fly away into the sunset. "And as Rachel soars through the burnt skies, she knows inside that though friendships change, she will never forget, never stop hoping. Never stop believing. Scissoring sisters are forever. And ever. And that is enough."

Agreed, but add scenes where Rachel is dominated by Ahab into being the Hound again. If not that, the Saurids and R'Chel.

Even if it had Rachel on every page. I, wouldn't waste a Canadian penny on "Ruby Summers."

Delusion:confused: Why do I, have to be delusional? Why can't I, be realistic?

Your sig is creepy.

And, yet, oh so fitting:evilsmile: As it should be:tongue:

Your signature suggests that you think you are Jean grey....which is very creepy.

Scissoring sisters, nice one! I'd buy that.

I don't want to see Ruby Summers in an ongoing, maybe a one-shot about the Summers Rebellion or whatever its called, and maybe some things down the line that contain that, but I don't want her to be a real main character. It'd be interesting though and I'd definitely read an ongoing, but not necessarily buy it.

Claremont is not the killing type.

You're saying that as if Sage hadn't beheaded an AU Cyke and as if Sir Claremont had no plans of killing a certain Cyke-related someone in X-Men Forever.

Just dump the oestrogen and make it a Nate Grey mini, then I'll be there.
