dumb drax got killed by a skrull and three other aliens i think
and he was reborn into this drax
who by the way actually finished his goal and killed thanos the mad titan

Drax started out smart, small, and with plenty of powers (energy projection, energy absorption, telepathy, flight). Then Moondragon killed him with a mind-blast. He was resurrected by Kronos as a huge brute with a power-up to match the one Death gave Thanos, but neglected to fix his brain damage until the late 1990s (making him small and smart again, but at the cost of his power-up; all of which was forgotten by his next appearance).

Then for whatever reason he started shifting from dumb to smart depending on the situation. When he was killed by Paibok, his body became a cocoon for the newest Drax, who can't fly, can't use energy projection, but can apparently make ordinary weapons (like knives) lethal to cosmic class characters. He seems to be able to nullify invulnerability.

Perhaps he's not packing and so he would feel ashamed if he weren't wearing pants. Like his small dong is his achilles heel.
