This looks like a pretty cool bonus for buying the game. Can't wait till it's out. $100 bucks is expensive though. Anybody else going to splurge?

Cool collector's edition.

This is definitely one of the better ones although I do hope the game is good firstly and foremost.

Multiple threads about this. I asked in the other one, but if you preorder from Gamestop, you get an exclusive challenge map and villian. This CE also gives you a map. So, if you preorder the CE from GS, you get 2 maps and a villian?

No, the map and villain are the same. You'll just end up with an extra set of download codes.

Can't wait. Everything I've seen about this game has been awesome, and the batarang alone is enough to make me spend extra on the special edition!

What I really want to know though, is what is the Batarang actually made out of? If it's cheap plastic or something count me out.

I usually never fall for these "special editions" but this time, it's freaking Batman! So I might get suckered into buying this if the Batarang isn't cheap plastic. Looks like it will be an expensive month in June for Bat-fans with this and the relaunch of the Bat-titles.

Ok, so youre just getting everything else in the CE? I want the map. I cant afford the extra 50 bucks.

Also, there are alot of demos out for this game at Walmart, Target, BB, Gamestop, and others. If anyone is at these stores, check out the game. Its like a 4 level demo.

I read in some video game magazine today that it was....metal, though I forgot what metal it was. Apparently the batarang is pretty heavy, but light enough to actually be tossed around if anyone wants to, you know, hurt themselves or others.

Nice to know it's metal. Awesome for adults, but I hope they put a warning label in case some kid decides to throw it at people.

I pre-ordered the game, but am not shelling out all the extra money for the CE. While that is one of the cooler ones for sure. Certainly not as lame has a Halo helmet sitting on your shelf haha.

Ahahahaha. That's awesome, glad to hear it's actually metal. But yeah, should definitely pick this up as soon as it comes out. Don't want to miss out if they take it off the shelves because some idiot parents buy it for their kids who end hurting themselves.

Well if you can't buy it from Amazon, try importing it from other sites. Shipping might be expensive.

I don't have a 360. But I have friend who wants to get the game, but probably won't spring for the special edition. I'll offer to pay the difference as long as I get the batarang. A sweet, heavy, metallic batarang.
