if this is after his appearance in Thunderbolts, it could mean that Osborn thinks that the Bolts got him.
but he survived.

but he survived.OH. That would make sense, I guess. Hmmm....If he's so intent on killing DP why not just send Sentry?

Given Sentry's fragile mental state of late, sending him out with the sole purpose of killing a person might not be the best idea.

An insane Mercanary with a crazy healing factor vs an insane superhero with the power of a million sun...
Guess who wins Kiddies ?

The book obviously has some of the prettiest artwork in the current Marvel stable, and the dialouge doesn't diminish it. It's funny, but not in a way that doesn't appeal to most. Like, one of my main concerns about first picking up this title was that Deadpool is a funny character, and humor in a comic is not the first thing I go for, but I picked this up and it's highly funny, but I'm not put off by it either. Make any sense?
The book reminds me of a cartoon, but once again, not in a off-putting way, it's just straight-down-the-line entertainment with classic Deadpool violence and humor. You don't have to be a Deadpool fan to maybe like this book. I'm not a fan in particular, and didn't like the Cable and Deadpool series (iirc mainly due to the amount of humor), but I like this series.
As a matter of fact, I already own ish's #1 and #2, and have preordered ish #10 -- I've even got the the first Tpb of this series (collects ish's 1-5) 'in my cart', and it's always the title I keep wondering if I should keep collecting, because it does appeal to me on a purely 'hi-octane fun' level.
Hope that helps.
