I actually enjoyed those previews. It seems like Uncanny is going to get better with the Sisterhood arc. I LOVED the scene between the Mastermind sisters. And Land seems to be more tolerable in the previews. I still would prefer to have Dodson back though.

you know this was pretty good. I liked this preview a lot and domino was pretty good. The dialogue was definitely hot and the story looks good. Find it hard to believe this is an x-men fraction comic. Perhaps betsy will be getting her original body back. Id hate it, but who knows. Best written x-men book ive seen in a while.

She's always been kind of moody and depressed (in the X-Corps storyline, it showed she preferred creating illusions for herself than participating in the real world). It also surprised me that she actually wants her father back. In the same storyline, she seemed unimpressed with her father and actually quite apathetic towards him. Now all of a sudden she wants him back to life? Random...

Domino is known as both Neena and Beatrice. It's been like that for a while now. One of those names is supposed to be false, but I don't think they ever revealed which. Right now, they've been treating Neena as her real one, so I guess Beatrice was fake.

However, they eventually divorced when Domino had to change postings.

I've never read what this story. The only stories I've read that had Domino in them were X-Force issues around when OZT was happening. So it looks like it's been changed.

Wow, one of the more astute observations I've read in a while.

I loved that preview. The writing is first-rate, the characterization is great, the art is the best panel-to-panel action I've seen from Land in ages (no gratuitous poses, each female character is unique). There was a sense of detail, of reality, that used to be a hallmark of UNCANNY in the 1980s. I could follow the dialog, and the story without wondering who was saying what, or what the hell was going on.

And the preview itself had a beginning, middle, and end, like the chapter of a book.

But still, there was something more. I felt renewed excitement, as I read those pages. I felt a sense of freedom and release and that old X-Men fangirl love returning. Why, I couldn't understand ... the art and writing weren't THAT good. And then I read lockerogue's post and it hit me. Brilliant observation. There was no Cyclops, especially no more Emma Frost, no Beast, no Colossus, no Cable and red-headed little girls in the same story trundling along, repeating endlessly in X-book after X-book.

But of course, these are just preview pages. I'm sure the rest of the comic will feature -- as others have pointed out with such wistfulness -- panel after panel of White Queen and Summers in bed, or Frost jutting her boobs at the reader, or Cyclops claiming "mutants are superior," and, "mutants must rule," and "let's go kill us some more flatscans."

Oh well, sorry for the rant. Had to get that out.

Of course the writers compare notes! That's why we have the same characters in every single book! Now that Domino is getting facetime over in X-Force, it is IMPERATIVE that she be brought to Uncanny. I look forward to her inclusion in Astonishing.

We saw the lapdance during a flashback to a car ride he gives her in the issue where she transforms into an fauxAsian. She's just a girl when she sits on his lap, but once the ride is over she walks out of the car as a full grown woman.

I'm starting to like Revanche. It's unfortunate, but I doubt she's going to be the one to come back. If she does, she should show off her scars and oozing sores at least once an issue.

If Kwannon doesn't grow back her eyes, she is not fully healed. If she isn't healed, she is still rotting. At worst, she dies again right away. At best, she is a zombie.

I'd like to see her character developed, as well.

When I first saw Kwannon it was directly before her death. I completely missed the issues detailing the body-swap and only saw the aftermath. I was happy that there were two purple haired woman about (I <3 purple), but then saw that Kwannon was dying. I detached myself from her character. I was still grieving for Clarice (can we tell I get my comics completely out of order?) and couldn't handle liking and losing another character so soon.

I'm such a dork LOL.
