Dark Horse Solicitations for July and September 2009 are now up. Included are covers and plot summaries for: B.P.R.D.: 1947 #1 (of 5), HELLBOY: THE ICE WOLVES, THE MARQUIS: INFERNO (which will be a wopping 336 pages!), WITCHFINDER: IN THE SERVICE OF ANGELS #1 (of 5), and among the many other weird things a one-shot titled DETHKLOK VS. THE GOON. Yeah thats Dethklok as in the fictional metal band from Adult Swim's show Metalocalypse.

I am super psyched for the UA:Dallas Hardcover. I wish Hellboy, BPRD, and Goon would have collector HC's before the TPB's. I know it is not economical, but I'd buy it.

Speaking of DH solicitations; I thought July was supposed to see the return of Wild Hunt? Are we now going to be waiting until August/September or later before we see the continuation of this series? I sincerely hope not.

these are not perfect forcasts

but here is what i think the calender schedule currently is:

The Wild hunt returns after a 4 month break so i guess that will be august through november for issues 4-8

As for BPRD it looks like june through october is BPRD 1947 issues 1-5 ... and then november is BPRD War on Frogs #4 of 4

Witchfinder starts in july and goes through november for issues 1-5

So by november it looks like 5 series will have come to a close, BPRD black Goddess next month, War on Frogs, 1947, Wild Hunt, and Witchfinder ....

also we have Lobster Johnson planed for this year im not sure when though (this august?) as well as probably a Mike Mignola Hellboy one-shot similar to In the Chapel of Moloch



The item we will have to wait the longest for seems to be BPRD King of Fear the series that comes after BPRD 1947 ... the third story arc in the "Scorched earth" trilogy (The Warning is part 1 , Black goddess part 2 , King of Fear part 3)
let suppose King of Fear is 5 issues and begins in december after war on frogs wraps up .... then only in April 2010 will we finally have that story completed



BPRD King of Fear according to Scott Allie in hellmail for black goddess #4, will be " tying up 15 years of Hellboy and BPRD continuity -really! "

So 2009 minus 15 years is 1994 ... Hellboy seed of destruction ... lots still left to be wraped up ... im hopeing we find out everything ..about the ogdru jahad and ogdru hem war ... the aliens ... the frog people and mole people war ... the "rabbis" in space ... maybe see hellboy as beast of the apocalypse ... maybe abe sapiens underwater origin god of atlantis?
