My friend sent me these two pictures of comics. One is Captain Canuck and the other is Bone. Do these images have any specific meaning, like a popular scene or edition?

One is the original Captain Canuck, the other is Fone Bone and Thorn being attacked by rat creatures.

The Bone image is the cover to BONE #5.

The Canuck image was drawn by George Freeman and appeared in CAPTAIN CANUCK #7; it was later used on a postage stamp.
