Who helps Bruce out when he's in trouble ? I don't necessarily mean most frequently , but who is that one person Bruce couldn't have gotten along without
The list of contenders is longer than I thought
A few that I can think of (Feel free to add your own if you like)
Dick Grayson
TIm Drake
Barbra Gordon
Commish Gordon
Alfred
Huntress
Clark Kent
Zatanna
Who do you think is the MVP

I'd have to go with Alfred. He's basically held Bruce together all these years, both physically and emotionally.

I'd have to saw Alfred. Not only raising him, but all the times he finds Bruce in the cave or somewhere else and cleans and bandages his wounds, that could have been deadly.

At home, Alfred.
In the field, Nightwing followed by Oracle and then maybe Cass (Tim's just a spear holder).

Alfred.
He shot at Bane to protect "Master Bruce".
Alfred owns.

I don't know about that, I always thought of Tim as the most obvious heir apparent to Bruce. I know Dick was first and is older and all, but it just seems to me that TIm is more in the mold of Bruce. Also, I agree about Alfred y being Indispensilbe , and I forgot to include Selna....how could I have forgotten Selina

Tim doesn't have Batman's drive, Cass' combat ability, Dick's experience or Oracle's hacking ability.
Tim's been around a while and he's pretty good but I honestly don't ever recall a time where Bruce ordered Tim to take down some especially tough guy while on a mission, or allowed him to do so willingly.
Plus, at least in the beginning, Tim never wanted to take over as Batman. He was fine with being Robin.
Though these days, Tim is just Dick Grayson 2.0

That said, none of them have Tim's detective skills... Save Bats himself....

Brains has usually been Tim's edge, but he's not that much smarter than Dick and certainly isn't better as information gathering than Oracle.

I will reluctantly agree with you on that ( I mean if you're going to use logic, what choice do I have ) It just seems to me that Tim is the only one who can keep it together. I guess I'm trying to say he has more potential than I remember Dick having

Pre-Crisis, Robin or Superman are the obvious choices.
Post-Crisis, definitely Alfred.
Honourable mention to Leslie Thompkins

Tim can keep it together, hence why he's smart enough to get out ;)
I don't think Tim has more potential than Dick, though. While Tim's great at technology, his interpersonal skills suck. Nightwing's a step down from Captain America in terms of leadership ability.

Nightwing is actually the best leader in the DCU. Along with Superman 99.9% of people would follow him.

Alfred without question.

Without a doubt or question, Alfred.
Batman's 'Batman', when the s hits the fan, he turns to the man who has been there from the beginning (post-crisis).

Alfred. As Bruce's surrogate father, he provides support on a much deeper level than Dick, or Gordon, or Tim, or any one else in the Batfamily.

To be fair, EVERYONE is a step down from cap in terms of leadership.

""Alfred" He said not long ago. "If anyone ever asks for an obituary, tell them Batman's big secret was a classic whodunnit. Only it's not about who killed Batman, but who kept him alive all these years."
