er, "hot" on the heels of The Fire Wolves, we now see the solicitation on Amazon for the next Hellboy novel -
Hellboy - The Ice Wolves by Mark Chadbourn (http://www.amazon.com/Hellboy-Ice-Wolves-Mark-Chadbourn/dp/1595822054/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1238710799&sr=1-3)
doesn't appear to be any connection between the two...

Uh, are those novels connected in some way or are they really just running out of titles? I don't really care as I'm hoping they both deal with werewolves which are nine kinds of cool. Even regular ole wolves are cool in my book. I also like that at least part of this story is set in the United States. Not that I have any problem with Hellboy's globetrotting exploits (in fact most of my favorite stories are ones set elsewhere), but it is nice to see him come home now and again.

from the cover blurb, it doesn't sound like a sequel, but it's very odd to have two Wolves books back to back.

The cover is really nice. I haven't read many of The Hellboy novels, but they all look good. I saw the Dragon Pool at a local library, but didn't pick it up because I was too busy to finish it in two weeks.

Had to look that one up, Brisco. How apropos. I was thinking Hellboy got mixed up with a squadron of WWII aces.
