Reminds me of the first time I heard the concept of "glory hole".
My initial thought was "what if there´s someone with a saw on the other side"?

There was a crackhead in the old neighborhood who microwaved her baby.

Is this the urban legend or did this actually occur? Meaning did you know the parties in question, or did you hear it from a friend who heard it from this one guy, who heard it from their uncle, etc.

I did not know the party in question but I knew OF her (it was a fairly small town,) she WAS arrested for homicide by child abuse, the details (microwave, oven, etc) vary
so it COULD have been a combination of truths and urban legend, now that you mention it.
