Jack's half Literal!
In an otherwise transitory issue where Jack just acts like a dick (was cute at first, but now it's tiresome). We learn that Jack is part Literal. Now I have no idea what that will mean. But I love the concept of the Literals and it does make Jack more interesting.

Perhaps this explains how he became the heart of all stories.

The identity of his mother was creepy, but I found his father to be the most disturbing of all. I wonder if he's going to go claim his title and lands..

Loved the double reveal, and Jack missing the point entirely till they broke it down for him. His omg I've been nailing my half sisters face was awesome.

I just had a thought.
The whole story about Jack being a half Literal (and can you only be half literal, aren't you either literal or figurative?) and thereby sleeping with his half sisters (an "ewww" moment) is told to him and the readers by...................Revise. Yes, the Literal who revises stories. That is who he is and what he does (which also means he will be key in the fight against Thorpe, since he can revise Thorpe's original plans).
So maybe it is only true now and was not true when he was otherwise engaged with the Page sisters.
Food for thought.

............kinda xplains his " powers " over the ladies - wonder if he got any thing from his mom ?

But really, wouldn't Wicked John be the actual son of Charming and Prose?

I suppose Jack being a Literal might be why he was able to create a new version of his own story. He's kind of the only one to both be a story and a storywriter.

I was thinking Jack being a Literal could explain how he had been in so many stories.

I was wondering about the Wicked John thing too. Maybe it has to do with Revise.
