Apocalypse? In which time period? I, ask because Clan Askani does not exist for a few dozen decades to come yet.

They are referencing a lot of the events that happened in the Adv of Cyclops n Phoenix. My point was if they were bring Apocalypse back why not Clan Askani as well since they were the ones that created Stryfe and the cult that was getting ready for coming of the mutant messiah.

This looks like the best pages Duane Swierczyski has written for Cable. This is going awesome. Even the art seems better than normal.

Scott and Hank say in the Prologue that they are 1000 years before Cable's time (the Askani future). The Askani were founded about 100 years prior to Cable arriving.

While defeating Poccy in all timelines would be nice, I'm not sure it's necessary to stop him in this one. It's not the future, it's just one timeline out there where Poccy eventually takes over. Starting a group in this timeline to stop him would be nice, but the goal is to stop Bishop so he leaves Hope alone.

This does look good. I foresee big changes coming to Cable's series out of this event. Probably not so much for X-Force, but that's probably for the best as that series is consistently awesome.

The idea of Deadpool developing a split personality that ends up being smarter than him is more than enough for me to buy the comic.

Ug, I absolutely hate the art. Everything looks so stiff and boring. Different strokes for different folks though.

Love Deadpool's line about the solicits, haha.

Me either, though I love apocalypse. Am I out of step with his current character or is it weird how mean/harsh wolverine's being?

I really like the interaction between Wade and Logan, more so even than the interaction between he and Cable during the Cable/Deadpool series! I think it's because, while both Nate and Logan play the "straight man" to Wade's "funny man", Wolverine is so much less tolerant of him (though Cable did blow his brain out the back of his head once).

Anyone up for a "Deadpool should join X-Force" campaign? Watching Wolverine try to give him orders would be great IMO!

Yeah but he wasn't at the time, that's like recognizing a guy on the bus and punching him the back of the head because he stole your girlfriend five years ago... got married and had kids. It's over man.
