Wii update--play from sd card plus arcade!

Nintendo snuck this one out without warning. The update lets you play your wiiware and vc games right off the sd card and an sd card menu is added.

They also added arcade games to the VC!

I would check this out but my wii wifi is down right now.

Anyone who's done WiiBrew has been doing this for a while now, so it sounds Nintendo just stopped fighting it.

Two more updates for the nintendo confrence. Final Fantasy is coming to VC and a zelda wiiware game called Zelda spirit tracks!

Edit--oops zelda is not a wiiware game. It's a ds-i game. Sorry guys.

I wonder if this was always in their plans for the wii (I am talking about the SD card loading).

Or is this the case of Nintendo learning from the pirates. Even if you dissagree with piracy, you have to admit that people softmodding their systems might have lead to Nintendo doing it legitamately.

Loading from the SD card should have been there day 1. I still wish we could use our external hardrives.
