By the way, here's what the creepy little suckers look like:

The award is fashioned in tribute to 1940s B-movie actor Rondo Hatton, who suffered from a disease that disfigured him but gave him a short but fruitful career in horror movies. Rick Baker did a Rondo make-up for a character in the movie The Rocketeer.

Has Mike learned of the award? If he wants a statue, he should get in touch with the people in charge. I've read that they sometimes take a while (or forever) to mail them out, due to a limited budget.

Rondo Hatton was also the basis for an old DHP (http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=fullsize&issue=21767261180%2054) feature (http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=page1&issue=21767261180%2054), by BPRD's very own John Arcudi.
