Ok, so I unlocked all the guys except for Seth, Akuma, & Gouken, and to get them I'm supposed to get 2 perfects & 2 ultra finishes to get Akuma first right? I've done it on all levels from eaisiest(I was just trying to do it quick ok?) to medium & Akuma still hasn't come out.

Do I have to do it on hard? Or is it random & I have to keep doing it until one of the times I do it he decides to come out?

Oh and sidebar, is it me, or does Seth sound like Adam West when he says, "Witness my limitless power"?

Have you used continue or lost any matches? You can't do that. Aside from that, you can unlock Akuma on any difficulty setting, and with any match configuration. I think you need just 1 perfect and 2 ultra finishes. Gouken I think is 2 perfects and 2 ultras, plus you have to have beaten the game with Akuma. There's alos a certain number of First Attacks you have to get, but on Easiest that shouldn't be a problem. Pretty sure that if you do Easiest with 1 round matches, you need five first attacks to face Akuma or Gouken.

Right. For some reason Gamefaqs has different numbers for Gouken, but I'm quite sure it was 2 Ultras and 2 perfects. Didn't know about the first attacks myself, but yeah, that shouldn't be too tough on the easiest difficulty.

To get Akuma, all you need to do is get 1 perfect with it set to 1 round matches. You can win the rest of the matches any way you like, but you cant use Ultra finishes. Once you beat Seth, Akuma will appear. Beat him to unlock him.

For Gouken, its 3 ultras and 2 perfects if you have it set to 1 round matches. You can do this with any character, but you need to have beaten the game with Akuma first. Once you beat Seth, Gouken will appear. Beat him to unlock him.

These can both be done on any difficulty level after you unlocked everyone else (except Seth), but you cant lose any match, so just set it to easiest.

One problem I had is that you hage to make sure you get the ultra finisjhes at the end of the match not just one of the rounds. Just setting it to 1 round matches solves this problem

That was exactly my issue, I set it to one round and had all characters within an hour. I thought I was going crazy because I'm like, "this is trash, I got at least 4 ultra finishes and 3 perfects" not realizing that my non-match ending ultra finishes weren't counting.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

It's actually a lot more complicated than people realize to unlock Gouken and Akuma. Capcom released the official details in the link below.

Official Way (http://www.capcom-unity.com/s-kill/blog/2009/02/24/sfiv_the_real_story_on_how_to_unlock_akuma_and_gou ken)

I actually unlocked them by following one of the GameFAQ Faqs they posted about a week after the game came out.

And I think Seth sounds more like the host from Family Feud..you know, the guy from Seinfeld.
