I always find these virgin and 'semi-virgin' covers to be fairly interesting.

I actually vaguely recall the name of Adam Pollina, so he can't have gone to become COMPLETELY obscure, as most of the mid-90's x-comics-making-peeps did. Anybody knows what he's up to these days?

John F. Moore and Adam Polina's X-Force run was excellent. Well worth checking out. A quick search tells me that Polina's last major work was on Angel in 2008, but he did Siryn's character profile in X-Factor #200 and Reignfire's profile in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z Update #1 (2010).

She's not dead, folks. :)

She got shot in the Messiah War story, the tie-in with Hope and Cable, but at the end of that story, X-23 journeys back in time to the present and stops the Leper Queen from firing the shot, by blowing her brains out before she can squeeze the trigger.

As such, Tabitha Smith survived. But taken by Osborns hammer-forces tho'... But was apparently saved in the next couple of X-force issues by Warpath, who apparently executes a whole squadron of Agents of Hammer in the process.

Last appearance was in the last issues of Second Coming! :)
