yea i did, i thought the kid had potential. Storm needs more ties to family to broaden her character she needs to progress
Hell, no! Don't you remember all of the trouble that came about from "Jean Grey" being adapted as guardian of the M'Kraan Crystal? That Alpo came from the cartoon as well -- which Grant Morrison fed to us.

So no to Mijnari because of something Morrison did to Jean?

I disagree. I prefer Storm as an orphan. Plus, I'm sick of seeing her play surrogate mommy.

I wonder. Was Mjnari a precursor to Spyke in X-men: Evolution?

Actually the cartoon is referencing the amazing Lifedeath II where Storm delivers a baby for this girl whom she met in her journey across Africa without her powers(just after she got shot in the head by the Fenris twins). The child was stillborn or something, but Storm breathed life into it and it lived. In that tribe, they could only support a certain amount of ppl, so with each birth, the eldest tribes member had to die, in this case, the tribal elder named M'Jnari. So there already is a 616 correspondence to the cartoon character, but I would imagine that child could only be around 6 years old or so since the issue occurred in the mid 1980's (given Marvel time and all that).

Seikun21. Is that Niels, Speedballs cat as your avatar? If so that is awesome.

Yes. Yes it is, from the first cover to the upcoming Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers mini.

Agreed, and I hope all of her recent family additions turn out to be LMDs sent by SHIELD to spy on her.

The only cartoon-exclusive character I'd maybe want 'ported over to the 616 is Morph, but I don't feel strongly for it. I liked him in the TAS, but shape-shifters aren't generally my thing.
To be honest I always liked this character and I would like to see some incarnation of him within the the X-books or Black Panther.
I like the idea of Storm breathing life into him and being his godmother, therefore he is not directly related to Storm, but still close enough to be family. Maybe they can make him be best friends with Nezhno, almost spoils to one another: Nezhno's strength and calm attitude to Mjnari's speed power and more comical side.

No. I have no intrest in the character. I'd rather have Kitty back, she fills a similar role in Storm's life as a surrogate child.
