They lost 45 students in that single ambush. Not 27.

Kyle, Yost, be proud of your carnage.

Great, now Wolfsbane isn't even mentioned as a team member. I find this to be Lame.
On a more positive note, the art looks great.

The marking under the eye in shadow means either Cable's hunting Cable or...

Yeah, Stryfe.

And yet, Wolfsbane is about the only X-Force member locked in the book.

Ugh....

I love how the Cyclops sums up all the past year of so of events in a few pages for all the newer readers like myself. It also has some of the most beautiful artwork I've ever seen.

Why does Stryfe have the same scar?

He's always had that same scar. Why a clone would come with a presumably non-genetic scar like that I don't know. But he's always had it.

It is odd that Stryfe actually exists, since the future in which he was created became null and void circa the Twelve arc.It could be that, being a time traveler himself,Stryfe became a "stitch in time",like he described Bishop to be long ago.

I was hoping the guy with the eye scar was Shatterstar. Just cause that character either needs to be more interesting or killed off.

Remember when the original solicits for issue 1 came out and people freaked out over Stabbity Force and said it was going to be awful?

Now everyone loves it.

Hence, can we stop the total bitching whenever they announce new teams or lineups? Thanks.

At least let it run a few issues first before making judgments.

I have never picked up an X-book in my life yet the art and writing in this preview screams "BUY" to me. I may actually pick this up.

Without Gambit's interference (one minute before dawn), good old Cable wouldn't have had a clue to even know to look into history to be there at Hope's birth to save her from the Purifiers and then Bishop still would have killed the baby if Gambit hadn't saved her. I love how Cable gets all the credit for that in Scott's (Marvel's) mind. Hope is alive to begin with because Gambit was willing to stay with Sinister and Mystique to help the X-Men and Rogue behind the scenes to try to find out what was coming and has been left out in the cold of the team yet again because of it. In Gambit's case no good or bad thing he does goes unpunished.

I agree with everyone though. the art is nice.

Yeah that is just the case of the writers being lazy and not giving a proper conclusion to their thoughts. I would love to know if the writers at marvel even know each other and collaborate like true team members.

Gambit is over their in Legacy and no one is questioning him as to how or why he knows about the baby? Why did he destroy the diaries?

Gambit and Rogue stories has never ever been good or exciting. Why does everyone always want to see them linked?

The Gambit/Sinister - Gambit/Bishop stories are so much more statisfying.

Also Stryfe casually at a bar just seems so lame.
Sorry he seems like the type of have an underground hideout with robot defenses.

Drinking a beer? Seriously??? When is he gonna don the ultra lame cape and armor??

Choi/Oback & Kyle/Yost are truly awesome. The plot may be more context heavy than most Marvel books (and that's saying something), but this team NEVER disappoints.

Hepzibah has no tail in that panel!!!!!!!

Has the long awaited Hep VS Lois London Battle Royale happened "off panel???"

If it has, I will sue.

Apart from that - this looks sex on a stick

Trust me, context heavy is nothing bad in my book. It actually only adds to my excitement.

Um...this is being narrated from Scott's point of view. How is he supposed to know what Gambit told Cable right before he tried to kill him? Or that Gambit saved the baby from Bishop?

None of the X-men have talked to Cable or Gambit since Messiah Complex, so Scott would have no way knowing this.

He's always had that same scar. Why a clone would come with a presumably non-genetic scar like that I don't know. But he's always had it.

For some reason I always thought that he gave it to himself when he impersonated Cable during X-Cutioner's Song, but now I can't remember if I read that somewhere or just assumed it.

This preview is such bullcrap. Marvel seems to be ret-conning the whole shooting it making it seem that Bishop intentionally tried to shoot Xavier. Nice. Just nice.

Can you explain how you got that out of the preview because I just don't see it.

Where's Cable and Hope in that part? Bishop was aiming for them, not Xavier. That was an accident. Yet in here it makes it seem as if that's exactly what he was doing, aiming for Xavier. I also noticed in quite a few interviews or anything with this book, it's always stated, "Bishop shoots Xavier and goes after Cable" pretty much regarding it was an accident.

I think the art was showing the moment where Cable and Hope disappeared. Because they would have been gone by the time that Xavier got shot in the head. So it really does make sense that they weren't drawn in the panel.

At least the art is nice.

Sorry, but after Endangered Species and Messiah Complex and whatnot I simply can't feel any excitement for the next installment of the seemingly neverending saga of "OMG, we're all gonna go extinct and everybody hates us!" anymore. I think we got it by now, so Marvel could stop shoving it down our throats. It won't make any more sense even if they continously do so.

And I can't see how this will be any more relevant than the events preceeding it; the status quo isn't going to change for a couple of years.

So, I guess I'll pass this one, even though the art really is fantastic.

And how would Scott know about Gambit's role? It's him remembering what happened, not Remy or Cable.

EDIT: Never mind, rwsmith beated me to it.

The art looks great. Yea, the scene where Xavier gets shot, it doesn't convey that it was an accident, shoulda shown Bishop getting his arm bitten off too.
