Dirty Deeds!

"Dirty Deeds" is a series of threads where a discussion can be held about the morally questionable, or outright evil acts of characters in comics. It might be a discussion about times a hero crossed a moral line they shouldn't have, or a discussion of a villain's most horrific acts in their history, but the premise remains the same.

Where possible, a poll will be included to vote upon said character's "dirtiest deed".

Please do remember that there are no wrong answers, this is all a matter of opinion. Since everyone has a different set of morals, please try and respect differences in people's own beliefs.

We’re moving right along into the forty-second Dirty Deeds thread, and I figured now’s as good as a time as any to look at one of the younger Academy X students who’s put together quite the impressive resume in his short existence. He’s been an X-Man, and Exile, and even though I wish it wasn’t so, one of the New Warriors. Oh yeah, here comes a look at…

Barnell Bohusk…
Beak!!!
http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/76894-138657-beak.jpg

So what is Beak's "Dirtiest Deed"?

- Selling the drug, “Kick”, to his classmates at the Xavier Institute, including the Omega Gang ? (revealed in New X-Men (vol. 1) #140)

- Assaulting Beast with a baseball bat, putting him in a coma? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #117)

- Sneaking away from his teacher, Xorn and the Special Class, to have sex with Angel Salvatore? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #135-136)

- Crushing the head of an unconscious U-Man with a rock, killing him? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #136)

- Telling Basilisk that only a girl who was non-existent would actually go out with him? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #136)

- Getting into a fight with Basilisk over a game of “Clue”? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #140)

- After getting Angel Salvatore pregnant, hiding the larval sacs of their children in Wolverine’s shack rather than tell anyone at the mansion? (revealed in New X-Men (vol. 1) #141)

- Lying to Professor X and Beast that he was the one who shot Emma Frost? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #141)

- Trying to help Xorn capture Dust within a jar? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #146)

- Joining Xorn’s Brotherhood of Mutants, and helping him begin enslaving the human population of New York City? (New X-Men (vol. 1) #146)

- After the death of Xorn, keeping his helmet as a trophy? (revealed in Exiles #46)

- Leaving his wife and children behind to join the Exiles? (Exiles #46)

- Ignoring the Superhuman Registration Act, and becoming an unregistered vigilante named Blackwing as a member of the New Warriors? (revealed in New Warriors #1)

- Lying to Sofia Mantega, his former classmate at Academy X, as part of a plan to recruit her into the vigilante team known as the New Warriors? (New Warriors #1)

He’s not been around long, but he’s already been a drug dealer, a teenage dad, and saved the whole Multiverse with his ability to make friends! Now, vote for what you think is the worst of Beak’s “Dirty Deeds”!

I voted for the skipping class for sex and joining Xorn's war. Maybe the 2nd one is more serious than the 1st.

It is a different subject but is Barnell Bohusk in the Wolverine Origins movie? I remember reading that but I am not sure.

Someone named Barnell Bohusk is supposed to be in it, played by Dominic Monaghan. Although, I'm hearing his powers will be completely different in the movie.

I voted 4 Beak leaving his egg sacks In Wolverines' cabin.

A. Its child neglect.

B. He counted his chickens before they hatched.

The bastard!!

Plus, when they were born, he named the boys after the Jackson Five. That's just messed up.

A lot of the stuff he did was under mind control from Esmee so are they really "his" dirty deeds?

Angel Salvatore was a disgusting mutant. M-day was the best thing that ever happened to her. Certainly better than sex with this Beak thing.

Was Esme ever called out on any of that?? I admit I fled from Morrison's X-men and missed the finale.

Actually, he was never influenced by Esme, so far as they could tell. He lied to Xavier because he was actually trying to cover for Angel, because he loved her and didn't want her to get in trouble.

Esme didn't give a damn about their kids. That was all him. Joining the Brotherhood is a maybe, although Esme wasn't there when he did. Xavier was, though, and would've trumped her.

Other than those possibles, the rest is all Beak.

Got to agree with timbox.

One of the worst deeds was looking like that !

She did reject the advances of Wolverine, refusing to become his new teenage "sidekick", though, while throwing up on her food.

Beak, though, gets points for following Dazzler's lead and trying to kill the Beast.

Well he was also mind-controlled by Cassandra Nova when he attacked Beast with the bat, right?

Ah ha! Someone is paying attention!

Yeah, Beak can blame that on Cassie Nova. Dazzler can only blame her assault on Beast on drugs given to her by the Gladiators.

Most of my problems can also be traced to drugs given to me by gladiators.

Lying to the Hyperions, that he would serve with the Exiles to make the multiverse save. Instead he left to go home.

I think most of Beak's deeds were done because he freaked out and didn't think he had a choice. You can say how gross Angel Salvadore was but dude wasn't getting any other offers I mean really, put yourself in his shoes, you're a teenager who looks like a bird who fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. And then after he gets it on with said girl she spawns these insect-like larval sacks, so he hides them, cause dude you can't go to old Prof. X and say yeah you knocked her up and she made creepy egg babies. No Way! But he also felt responsible and was gonna try to provide for them even if it meant selling drugs. Not a wise decision especially since I think I saw it pointed out, who would buy from him? "Did you use some? Yeah? uh no thanks then."
And he lied about shooting Emma because he thought he was protecting his Baby Momma. Again at least trying to do what he thought was right. And I think he Joined Xorn's Brotherhood because again he saw no other way to keep himself and his safe, and we all saw where it got him when he changed his mind.

The Beast Attack was mind control and thusly not his fault.

Killing the U-Man was doing what needed to be done and I applaud it. Eff those organ stealing ghouls in their rubber fetish suits.

The SHRA was a possibly good idea done in the wrong way and those who went along with it were sell outs and wussies. And he and crew fought it even though they could have just bowed out and done nothing, as none of them would have had to register after losing their powers and getting their tech.

And as for getting in a fight with Basilisk... Dude, wouldn't you? Guy was stoopid and annoying and lucky he didn't get the Titanium Bat to the head. Or a Rock.

Other - leaving Stacy X dead when she is clearly one of the few great mutants with the power to give people orgasms from a distance.

That's just telling the truth, quite frankly.

Ignoring the Superhuman Registration Act, and becoming an unregistered vigilante named Blackwing as a member of the New Warriors?

And that's an act of heroism, not villainy. My vote goes to him working with Magneto during the whole New York thing.

Correct. I had a suspicion he might be one of the blink-and-you-missed-it cameos, but alas, not even that as confirmed here. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/fullcredits#cast
